We stayed only one night in Chamonix. The hotel is very nice, clean e the view of Mont Blanc from the room and the swimming pool is spectacular. The hotel guests can use Jacuzzi, pool, sauna and steam. The only think we did not like was the carpet in the room. Breakfast was good. A private parking is available or, in alternative, there is a public parking just outside the hotel. Staff is very friendly. Chamonix is a beautiful place and would definitely stay again in this hotel for a longer break.
Just outside the hotel we had dinner in L'impossible Restaurant. Excellent quality food, italian recipes. Highly recommended!

I booked and paid for this hotel prior to being informed that the ski area was closing for the season some days earlier than advertised, and consequently there would be no skiing on my ski trip to Chamonix. Disappointing to say the least. I contacted the hotel and though it contravened their policy, I was able to get a full refund on my room, deposit included.

This type of service is hard to come by. I will rebook with them when next in Chamonix for sure.

Great hotel in all aspects - good breakfast, excellent staff, clean, comfortable rooms, good location. The spa is an added bonus. Will definatley stay next time we are in Chamonix. Nothing to fault in our 5 day stay.

Room Tip: Spend the extra £20 per night and upgrade room

I travelled to Chamonix for a weekend ski break with my partner. I looked at lots of hotels/reviews and in the end we decided to book Hotel Aiglons. We were really please with everything from start to finish. The staff were brilliant, very friendly and couldn't do enough to help you. The hotel was very clean and well presented and although the room was a little dark the rest of the hotel was great. Everything was set up to make the trip that little bit easier, you can buy your ski pass at the hotel and the ski hire shop is just across the road (20% discount for Aiglons guests). The bus stop is more or less directly outside the hotel and it takes you to all the major ski areas. Breakfast at the hotel was good with a good choice of food and a good service. The bar area was really nice and the staff were quick and efficient. I didn't eat dinner at the hotel but from what I saw it looked really good and most people seemed happy. The best thing by far was the Jacuzzi, Swimming Pool, Sauna and Steam as it's just what you need after a day skiing.

Travelled for a child free short break to Chamonix just at the end of the official ski season. Arrived at the hotel and first impressions were good. easy check in and shown to first floor room with fantastic views over the pool area and up at Auguille de Midi and Mont Blanc. Hotel was spotless and the room was a little on the small side but perfectly adequate. Bathroom had been recently refurbished and overall the facilities were excellent. Flat screen TV with a few English channels. Only slight point which would have really helped would have been a couple of small chairs on the balcony to really enjoy the views. We did not have meals at the hotel but the restaurant was always busy both morning and night and looked very nice. Chamonix itself was just beautiful to have a walk through stopping for coffee and pain au chocs. The Auguille de Midi is a must do. We chose a beautiful clear day and it was truly breathtaking. Pricey but well well worth it. We did an afternoon drive to Annecy which is about an hour which is another beautiful lakeside old town and again worth a trip. all in all we both fell in love with Chamonix and the surrounding area and will definately return. The hotel was first class, the pool, sauna and jacuzzi were all well maintained although I'm sure at the height of the season very busy as they open 10am -1pm then 3-8pm. We also had the most wonderful steak and chips at the Jekyll and Hyde bar next to hotel along with live music and very friendly english staff in a really relaxed atmosphere. I would really recommend the hotel and area. The town centre is within easy walking distance, it was very clean, room serviced every day with helpful staff. What more could you want. I cannot really find fault with it other than being really picky and wanting maybe a slightly bigger balcony with a couple of chairs! Perfect for a short break
