Wonderful stay, room, service, warm and friendly staff, colorful and lively guests, very unasuming but excellent place! Very nice with wine and snacks serving (cortesy the hotel) on a Thursday and beautiful live singing on a Saturday night. Great food and service in the restaurant! Thanks, Daniella, thanks wonderful guys in the ski room and the restaurant for making us feel so well taken care of!!

The good: At Montblanc resort. Staff want to help.

The bad: Too far from train station, spa facilities sub-par, very expensive bar prices. Despite their willing to help, staff often don't connect effectively with external parties, which leads to situations where one has to run around on false information.

2/5 at best

Dear Guest,

Thank you for sharing your comments with the travel community.
We are surprised that you found the hotel far away from the train station, the nearest train station (Aiguille du Midi station) is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There is also a free shuttle bus, Le Mullet, with a bus stop is in front of our hotel which goes directly to Chamonix centre and the main train station.
Our staff do their best to provide correct information and useful advice. we are sorry to hear that you had some difficulties with the external parties and if in any way we are responsible please get back to us with more information and details and we can look into it further.
We look forward to hearing from you and hope to welcome you back to Chamonix in the near future.

I don't usually expect good service in France, but this hotel exceeded expectations of a 4-star hotel anywhere.

From a welcome greeting by the receptionist, to service in the restaurant and bar - all staff went the extra mile to ensure we had a great stay.

The restaurant was also excellent. We took the half board option, and expected a mediocre buffet type arrangement for the evening meal, but again they exceeded expectations offering a good choice from an al a carte menu. Food was always freshly prepared, well presented, and tasted great.

The only downside could be said to be location, in terms of not being ski in ski out, although not many places in chamonix are. This hotel is opposite the main chamonix sud bus stop and again staff were very helpful offering advice on times and even have us a free ticket for the ski bus.

Great hotel - keep up the good work lea aiglons team :-)

We stayed here for a week over my birthday in January and had a great time!

The location is perfect just a minutes walk from the ski bus which is wonderful.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean nicely presented.

We had a great time and hope to return next year!

While not lavish this hotel is more than adequate in all respects. Food is first class. The staff are delightful, really friendly and fun. The surroundings are comfortable and the Spa is pretty good. The location of the hotel is ideal for the ski bus and just a short walk into town. It is handy that it has it's own ski equipment hire shop too. There are not really any bad points about this hotel, it is as we expected.

Room Tip: The rooms at the back of the hotel are more peaceful.
