We stayed at Les Aiglons three nights during the last week in May and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was during a “week off” for Chamonix but we lucked out and had a clear day for mountain viewing and even on a cloudy, rainy day enjoyed walking around town. My husband played golf and most of our group (seven) had massages at the Les Aiglons' spa (I didn’t have one but they seemed happy enough with theirs). The hotel was a good one and well located for all of our activities (bus to golf course right across the street). However, what we liked most about the hotel was the staff. The entire front desk staff was extremely helpful. They helped us secure a shuttle to Annecy and were good with directions and suggestions for touring Chamonix. There was also a young man from Canada at the bar who was very pleasant. Thanks Les Aiglons.

Room Tip: Get a room overlooking the pool.

Recently returned from a week's holiday at 'Les Aiglons'. This is a bright, stylish hotel run by a young, enthusiastic and friendly staff. The entrance which opens into an atrium overlooking Mont Blanc is most impressive. The rooms are large, stylish and uncluttered with all facilities needed for a very comfortable stay. We were on half board, so were able to sample breakfast and dinner each day. Breakfast included all that you would require including warm and cold dishes plus fruit, cereals etc. Dinner was prepared by a talented chef who produced interesting dishes very well served.
The location is excellent - being 10 minutes walk to the centre of town and a bus stop right outside the hotel to take you in either direction using your free pass up and down the valley.
Chamonix is a stylish, chic resort in a dramatic and stunning location. If you thought mountain scenery on chocolates was false, then you need to visit here!
Thoroughly recommend booking a room with a Mont Blanc view - you will not forget pulling back the curtains in the morning to see such a dramatic view.

Room Tip: As mentioned above pay extra to face the Mont Blanc

What a great hotel, we arrived early but the staff were 5 star and did everything to ensure we had one of our 2 rooms and everything clean and really well placed under the mighty Blanc. Nice pool outside plus spa and restaurant, easy free parking and must say I would recommend this as a good affordable very well run gig, easy walk into town so you can park up and just bathe in the beauty of the alps, absolutely lovely

Room Tip: Both our room and our family room were great, they all seem a high standard

I've been to Chamonix twice, and stayed at this hotel both times. The staff at the front desk is extremely helpful. The hot tub and saunas were great to use on a rainy day, and the location is great, being near the station, bus stop, and the tram. The only downside is that the rooms are relatively small.

What struck me most about this good looking, modern hotel was the nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Check in was easy and the room was nice with all amenities you would expect, plus a large balcony (over looking the pool and Les Houches ski area). Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and catered for a wide range of needs, including a nice 'organics' section. We used the Spa & pool which were clean and more than adequate (although I recommend giving the Sauna and Hammas time to heat up). A really nice touch from this hotel (5 minutes walk to centre of Cham) was the free bikes outside. We borrowed the bikes and took a tour around the local area; a really nice additional extra.

Overall a really good stay, I would definitely recommend for people wanting something, modern, clean and easy.

Room Tip: Borrow the free bikes & explore the local area.

I had the pleasure of visiting Chamonix February 21-March 2, 2014. I was not a customer at this hotel. I had a mishap with my bus booking in Geneva and arrived at an unscheduled time on an unscheduled bus to Chamonix. The bus dropped me off on the opposite side of town from the travel agency where we were collecting our keys. My boyfriend and I had heavy, awkward bags, we were cold and wet, the travel agency that had the keys to the condominium we were staying in was closed, and my cell phone battery was dead. We were tired, bummed out, and stressed.

We went into Les Aiglons (Best Western) and both Madeline and Elena showed us incredible generosity with their time, information, and even the use of an electrical outlet to charge my battery. They were kind enough to store our luggage until we could check into our place and the invited us to spend time in their lounge. They also made a few phone calls to our travel agency, spoke for us, and translated from French to English.

Madeline and Elena were incredible ambassadors for the hotel and demonstrated amazing customer service. Because of them, I am writing a review for Trip Advisor. If this is the philosophy throughout their hotel, you will have a great stay.

Very nice hotel, clean and comfortable room, spacious, modern. Adequate for couple traveling with a toddler. Cons: pool area and jacuzzi closes at 8 pm, the time that we are back from the mountains or sightseeing, so we didn't have a chance to use the pool area. Overall great experience, and we enjoyed the stay. Price was great, definitely recommended!
