I booked this hotel a month in advance online for a family of 5 adults. Using the website I chose one room for five adults because the website said that this was possible to do and was obviously cheaper than getting two rooms for the five of us. Upon arrival at the hotel I was told by the receptionist that the room I booked was only for four adults and that we would have to change the room. The receptionist also proceeded to say that "maybe I hadn't read online how many people could fit in the room". So we switched rooms and I was told I would have to pay extra for the room they were switching us to. After 30 minutes in the hotel room, the receptionist returned to our room to tell us that our first room had been adjusted to sleep 5 people and that my reservation was correct in the first place. So we moved to the original room which had spectacular views and was fine. The rooms are nothing special, as an American tourist I expected the quality and service that I would receive in America if I was paying 300$ a night and that was not the quality that this hotel offered. Cleanings during and after your stay, pool towels, robes, all costed extra. Overall, I would only reconnect the views in the hotel, definitely not worth the money.

These are excellent apartments with a fantastic view of the mountains. One of the very few ski-in ski-out properties in Chamonix with easy access to the Bravent and Flagere regions. Short walk from the centre of town. It would be hard to top this residence.

This place is a true gem. Fantastic views of the mountain and the town - everything within walking distance - well appointed rooms (duplex). Clean and cozy property - friendly attentive and professional staff. Would definitely recommend and return.

Room Tip: rooms in the block with 500 (on a high floor) facing the mountain and the grassy area where gliders...

This place has stunning views and an excellent location....but for the price, very few of the things you would expect in a basic hotel are provided. No sheet changes, no replenishment of basic household items (eg toilet paper). The kitchenette lacked basic utensils and the microwave was jammed in a low space on a lopsided piece of plywood - so its door couldnt open unless the entire microwave was physically lifted. On the plus side, the balcony was sizeable, looking over mont blanc, very close to ski lifts. An amazing spot to have a drink, listen to the birds and enjoy the view after a big day on the slopes. You certainly pay for it though.

Having just returned from Chamonix, I wish I had better things to say about this hotel. Unfortunately, it was just a really bad value for money. We paid 400 euros a night for a 2 bedroom suite and stayed 3 nights. For this we got the following:
- no clean up service, clean everything yourself before you go including take out the trash bags or risk losing your deposit.
- a kitchen that lacks basic tools like a sharp knife or a strainer so you can make salad or pasta.
- have to go to the front desk to get even a roll of toilet paper. No tissues or paper towels provided either.
- the pool was not really warm. The sauna was not warm and the steam room not steamy. On top of that the sauna costs 10 euros for a half hour though no one was there. Oh and if you need a towel for the pool, cough up another 2 euros.
- the "fitness" area is just a few very old machines.
- the recreation room charges for almost everything. The pool table, air hockey and table hockey all cost money to play. The only thing you can play for free is ping pong.
- the wifi is not usable in the room, if you need a good connection be prepared to sit in the reception area most of the time.

Now it wasn't all bad. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, we got massages and scrubs with Karine, which were AMAZING. Next time I go to Chamonix I may not stay here but I will go back to get a massage with Karine for sure. Lastly, I have to say the views were spectacular and the location was great. I just wish they did not nickel and dime you for every single thing on top of charging a lot.

Stayed here Jan 2014. Great apartment with view of my.Blanco on 5th floor excellent ski in-out options which would suit even the complete beginner. Spa, pool etc an added bonus, well equipped kitchen, linen, towels etc all good standard. Bus stop for both piste and general travel right outside. Not really any bar atmosphere though, just a pretty lounge and open fire very cute for couples and families but not ideal for groups of those looking for lively apres ski. But charm town more than makes up for this, overall excellent location, staff and facilities will definitely return.

Room Tip: Ask for room at the back of main block and preferably on top floor for morning views of my blanc and...
