We stayed here in February in one of the "2 bedrooms for 6/7 people". We were four guys all 6' so were worried about the size of the bunks after some of the reviews here but have to say it was absolutely perfect for us! There was a small room with a bunk in it that was fine for two 6' guys, then a larger room with double bed then the dining area had a sofa with pull out bed under it that was grand. Not the height of luxury by any means but if you're looking for somewhere to stay while skiing that is clean, spacious enough and reasonably priced I'd recommend these apartments. There's a ski room downstairs with individual lockers per apartment which is handy. The location is great for skiing as the Chamonix Nord ski-bus stop is 20m from the door and most buses stop here regularly! Also a handy 10 min walk into the town centre for food etc. and there's a Spar shop and Intersport less than 2 min walk from the apartment.

If I was going back again with a group of guys I would definitely stay here again probably without looking elsewhere...

Located in Chamonix Sud it is close to the bus stop that get's you to where you need to be for the various lifts. You wouldn't want to walk to the Brevant lift so this is perfect. It has several good bars for drinks and food nearby and with a 5 minute walk you are on the main drag into Chamonix. the accomadation is basic but did the job for a place to sleep and base yourself for a week of skiing. The kitchen is basic and could do with a few more utensils and pans but you can make it work if you choose to eat in. There is a supermarket nearby as well. All in all, for the price I thouht it was great. If you want luxury then pay more!

Room Tip: Had a room at the front of the building on the 4th floor looking out onto the river. Great for looki...

It's apparent that this is budget accommodation, but this really is basic. The beds are awful, i wouldn't even give the pillows to a homeless person, they're that bad. They charge 10Euros to use the safety deposit box in the room, which is a joke.

If all you want is somewhere to go when you're not skiing and don't mind sleeping on the worst sofabed...

Good location though.

Room Tip: Be prepared for "basic" if you go for a studio.

The hotel is situated near the bus stop Chamonix Sud, this is the central bus stop at Chamonix. 300 meters from the center. Location is just great!
Double bed is not very comfortable, bed in the entrance is great.
Kitchen is well equipped. There is everything you need.
Isolation is not very good. Sometimes it was a little bit cold.
I think that Maeva is very good in price/quality.

The staff and location is really good. However, there is no proper bed. Honestly, there isn't a bed! (only a bed settee which is so uncomfortable, it is better to "sleep" on the floor). Also, the building is so poorly insulated, the light outside meant the room was never dark and the noise was unbearable - expect to be woken up at 02:00, 03:00, 04:00 etc from people coming home from a night out. Having said that, if you have no problem with any of that, the free and frequent buses make getting around town and to the slopes really easy and we are certainly going back to Chamonix again next year (but in different accommodation!)

Room Tip: Ask for the quietest room they have - and ask for a proper bed, not a bed-settee

We've booked a studio that sleeps 4.
Location is excellent, 5 minute walk from centre and close to bus stop, supermarkets.
Parking place nearby is hard to find in the peak season but you have underground parking option from extra cost (44 EUR/week).
Reception service: available between 8am-12pm and 4pm-8pm just to be aware in case of extra payment or other stuff you may need.

The room was clean, basic equipped with pretty new furniture. Small LCD TV present.
Balcony was very nice with a small table with chairs.

Beds were terrible having strange noise during sleep; the blankets were not recently cleaned and had a strange smell. Also the phonic isolation was inexistent and you can hear during night all the noise from the main corridor. So overall, the sleep quality was below expectation.

Kitchen well equipped with: heating, microwave, fridge, dishwashing machine. However there was no dishwashing liquid supplied and nothing else to clean (you have to buy it). The only negative aspect worth to be mentioned here is the absence of exhaust device in the kitchen (the smell is going into the room). The main corridor, at least on the second floor, smelled as a restaurant.

The bathroom was on average (bath & shower) but nice and very clean.
There is a locker room where you can leave your skis; unfortunately there is no room for drying clothes / boots.

Overall is a good location and value for money if you came to ski and spend just few hours in the room. If you are looking for confortable place I wouldn’t recommend.
