“Good but a bit pricey”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 April 2014 via mobile

Went to L'Atmosphere for a quick lunch. Food was very good but a bit pricey. We got a small plate of pasta for the kids and they charged us €14 per kid for a small bowl.

“Decent food, nice atmosphere!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 April 2014 via mobile

We dropped in for lunch on Good Friday, the menu du jour with 3 courses and 3 choices on each course was €25 per person. Including wine and coffee the bill came to €74. Food was good, but not excellent. Service was pleasant and attentive. The setting and atmosphere is pleasant.

“Very good restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 April 2014

I have been to this restaurtant many times, last time in March 2014, and I have never been disappointed.
The food is always delicuous and nicely presented.
Just one advice: Don't try cheese fondue or some other similar Alpine food. That is not what this restaurant is for, and I don't understand why they serve that kind of food.
Normal, classical French cuisine is what this place is for.
I usually have fish or seafood main courses here, and it has always been excellent.
During weekends it is a good idea to book your table ahead of time. This place fills up fast.
The service is good without being exceptional.
I can recommend this place if you want a good French meal.

“Ironic name?”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 March 2014

I wonder if the owner was being ironic when they chose the name for this place. The food certainly delivers, as does the wine list, but you get a load of bad attitude with your meal. We didn't like the table we were seated at and asked to move. A succession of staff berated us for not following orders until some chap who was probably the maitre d' told us to take our allocated table or shove it "ou le soleil ne brille pas". He untruthfully told us the table we wanted was occupied from 8pm. "That specific table"? We asked. "Non", but it was still booked. Guess what - the diners didn't turn up until 9-30pm.

So all the food prep in the world doesn't make up for the rubbish attitude, hence the poor review. Won't be going back.

“Hate to be rushed”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 March 2014 via mobile

When my wife and I walked into the restaurant we were impressed by the decor. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. That's when the rush started. We immediately ordered drinks as we looked over the menu. Our waitress came to our table well before our drinks arrived and wanted to take our order. We asked for another minute as we looked over the menu and ordered- our drinks still had not arrived. My wife had a chicken dish and said she enjoyed it. I had the filet- it was good but not inspiring. After dinner we wanted dessert. A menu was brought to the table and 3 different people asked what we wanted. We ate our dessert, paid our bill and left. The experience seemed incredibly out of character for most European restaurants.
