I stayed at this hotel in Jan 2014 for skiing with Inghams. We chose it from reviews on tripadvisor and can't fault it. It has the best position in the resort of 1850 without having 5 stars. It's about 30 meters from the bottom of the pistes and lifts (3 bubble lifts) and a short ski down to a chair that takes you to the top of the mountain where you can get over to the Meribel valley for the rest of the 3 Valleys. On either side of the hotel are shops of Chanel, Bvlgari, Louis Vitton & Dior so great for window shopping for my budget!
The hotel layout is downstairs from the entrance and on 3 floors (no lift) with ski store by entrance and you can take your boots to your room. On floor -1 is the cosy bar with tv and most of the rooms, on floor -2 is the dining room, which is too small to hold all guests so dinner is held over 2 sittings. The dining room has no windows and was rather too warm during dinner as they have had a problem with air con (or whatever) so had a small free-standing cooling unit which wasn't sufficient, so just wear a t-shirt etc for dinner.
Our room was on the -2 floor (room 308). Although billed as a twin it actually had 3 beds set up, we folded up the spare bed to make more room. White cotton sheets with a thin duvet. The rooms overlook the rear of the hotel which is a quiet street with the bus depot. The room was too warm for us so we had to leave the outer sliding door and inner door open a jar at night. There is a balcony which accesses the whole width of the hotel but we weren't worried about security as its the floor above shops/estate agent. There was never any noise from bars etc at night as there are none close by. However, we could hear snow ploughs & buses in the morning. There was tv in the room which had BBC1&2 and a couple of other English channels, there was also a fridge in the room. There was a wardrobe and plenty of shelves/drawers and a radiator to warm boots on. The bathroom was quite small but had a full size bath with shower over and shower curtain and a heated towel rail and a hairdryer. Constant hot water. The toilet was separate.
Food: Buffet breakfast had fruit juices, fruit, cereal & porridge, croissants & toast, cheese & ham, yogurt and hot; bacon, sausage, egg, tomato. In addition to all this there was a daily hot special.
Afternoon tea from 4pm had cakes & biscuits, soup & bread, tea, coffee & cocoa (not to my taste but I took sachets of hot chocolate) and hot wine for Eur 3. Served in the bar.
Before dinner, canapés & aperatifs (different each day) in the bar.
Dinner: You choose which sitting you prefer and which food you want at breakfast. There was a choice each day of 2 starters, 2 mains & 2 desserts (+1 veg option). The food was excellent, although the main tended to be meat (or fish) & 2 veg every day but was well cooked & presented. There was free wine during dinner and our glasses were refilled before you could empty them!
The staff were exceptionally attentive and couldn't do enough for us, as was Rosie the Ingham's rep.
The décor is a little dated but the hotel is clean & warm. I will return to this hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms are quite small but there is a choice of double, twin (inc pushed together) or triple, a single might be a small double, and choice of shower or bath (with shower over). Room 308 had everything we wanted. There as no noise from inside the hotel.

Well a bit of a mixed bag really.
Great things: access to the slopes, perfect location just a few metres from the ski lifts, luge run.
Not so great things: small tired rooms which were incredibly hot, brusque hire shop staff, expensive, occasionally stressy hotel staff, slopes heaving at this time of year.
We much preferred a catered chalet to a catered hotel just not as friendly/organised but the meals were delicious. I think that sums it up. I don't think we will return to the resort but had a great holiday nonetheless.

Stayed for a week over new year with family and friends. Staff were really friendly and welcoming; we arrived very late and were greeted off the minibus by staff who carried our bags and showed us to our rooms. Our room was really spacious and had more than enough wardrobe space. All of the staff in the hotel were incredible for the duration of our stay. The evening meals were outstanding with several courses and a choice of two main courses every night. The wine was constantly flowing at dinner time and there was a good selection to choose from.
This hotel had a really lovely atmosphere and I would love to stay here again.

The hotel is in a perfect location just by the ski lifts and adjacent to the exclusive shopping area (deep pocket required). Hotel is a little tired but kept clean and presentable. The staff and extremely high standard of food far exceeded our expectations. Three course dinner is served with wine each evening by smiling, helpful and caring, efficient staff who make it their business to ensure your stay there is entirely enjoyable. Food is beautifully presented and is of a standard far above the 3 star rating of the hotel. The menu varies every day with a vegetarian option and pre-dinner canapes and drinks are served before the meal each evening . Afternoon tea served in the small bar area is a real treat each day with home made soup and cake and tea/coffee are available free of charge throughout the day. We had a delightful stay at the Hotel Anemones which we booked via Inghams which we would highly recommend. Extremely good value, superb staff and delicious food.

Room Tip: If you are looking for friendly, efficient staff, good food but not looking for 5 star standard accommodation then this is the place - ideal for beginner skiing and a vast ski area for the experienced.

Just spent a week in this hotel.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Slap bang on the slopes. You can walk to the main lifts in about 60 seconds if you don't rush! All shops etc are within a few minutes walk. The shops are pretty exclusive. And expensive. Even the local Spar sells champagne for €3000 a bottle.

A party of four stayed and we were given two triple rooms. The rooms are spacious enough and although dated are clean and comfy and always warm. We had room 203 and found it quiet on an evening even though it was opposite the bar. The others people in our group had room 203 which they found noisy but a word to the manager and they were give another room. The rooms have plenty of storage space for two but maybe would be cramped with three. Beds are comfy enough after a days skiing and there was always hot water and the shower is good and powerful.

Breakfast was the usual chalet fare; porridge, pain au chocolat, croissant, cereals and a hot option which I didn't try.

At 1600 in the bar they lay on cakes, soup and biscuits which is perfect for a snack after the slopes.

They run a staggered system for evening meals with two servings one at 1830 and one at 2030 with canapés served in the bar previous to each sitting. The food is plentiful and very tasty. You will not go hungry! You are literally offered as much wine as you can drink too. Considering some of the places nearby charge over €25 for a bowl of soup you are getting good value for your money. If you fancy a hot drink while skiing it's very easy to nip back to the bar for a coffee or hot chocolate for free. The closest cafe charges €6 for a brew so it saves a lot of money!

The staff are all very helpful and friendly and seem to go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Nothing seems to much trouble and are very attentive at meal times offering wine etc.

Would not hesitate to stay again in this lovely hotel. If they did refurbish it would be nice but for the price and location you seriously cannot do better in courchevel.

Room Tip: We had room 202 which was fine.
