Very good signature dishes but not interesting menus. Very good wine list but most French wines over priced. Nice and friendly stuff. And of course great view to lake!

Amazing diner. I really liked the sitting in a sofa rather than a normal table chair. I highly recommend "le riz de veau" to die for!

A superb location, excelent pairing, the best service and a dinner to remember, what else? this experience will be at the top of your personal list for a long time.

Let’s start with the location; This restaurant is at the Hotel Royal, Evian-les-bains, France. Yes, this resort is home to the most important women’s golf tournament in the professional circuit.

Then you have a great staff, very well trained, enthusiastic and ready to make this experience unforgettable. You will notice it in every detail, from the reception to the service, from the waiter to the chef. Oh la la, The Chef, Patrice Vander already earned this place a Michelin Star and they are working hard for the next one.

The degustation menu is outstanding, a rich collection of french flavors, well rounded and balanced with regional notes. The creativity of the chef was present in every single detail including the perfect pairing. I will not try to translate because you cannot translate good taste. In french, Le Légumes d’hiver followed by a magnificent Saint-Jacques and for main course La Poularde de Bresse to finish with La Pomme Granny Smith which was the perfect encore for the dinner.

I promise you will enjoy this experience!

It's a real pleasure a to enter this beautiful hotel with its grandeur and art deco style. We arrived on a very cold and windy evening and were greeted warmly by the staff. Dinner was served to us as a set menu (we came with a group) with some added surprise-dishes from the head chef and the pastry chef. All dishes were delicately presented and full of flavour. A beautiful dinner and a delightful experience from beginning to end. Impeccable service.

This place is almost perfect.A smiling incredible staff polite to the extrem and ready to please, a beginning early 1900 deco Under amazing ceiling (very romantic setting for a nice evening) and final but very not least: incredible desserts (kudos to the pastry chef!!).
the only downside of the evening was about the rest of the meal.. I want to be fair here, everything was cooked to perfection and the dishes did show a huge technicity, however the choice of side vegetables or ingrédients for sauces were curious and to be honest not good (to my taste)... red cabbage for blue lobster (not really fancy).. bitter chocolate sauce for ris de veau which was so strong that it covered the taste of the meat completely.. or a soy sauce for deer so salty that one do not eat it..
a bit dissapointing. it was to my understanding that the carte was 5 days old and understable that it still needs tests.
still a very nice place to be..
