I stayed at this hotel with my family; the hotel is very well located close to the city centre and just in front of the lake Geneva; this hotel offers good amenities with spa and swimming pool (indoor and outdoor); rooms are modern and very well equipped; we were lucky enough to have an upgrade to an executive suite upon our arrival with our own large terrace and impressive view on the lake. The hotel has a direct parking access which is very convenient.
On the down side, I have to mention that it takes almost 4 hours to have our room ready and there were no possibility of having an early check-in. The real problem at this hotel is the Internet connection: not only you have to pay 9 € per day for connecting to Internet, but you will have to pay this amount per device (iPad, smart phone) and the connection is so slow that you wonder why you have to pay this amount for that kind of service.

This property is situated in a perfect location to embrace the gorgeous town of Evian-les-Bains. From the hotel, you can get magnificent views of the lake. There are shops, eateries and restaurants within walking distance, not to mention a casino down the street. The restaurant in the casino wasn't too bad. If you have a car, you can venture out to other places to eat and lounge around. A tour to the French Evian Bottle Water Facility is a must! You can reserve tickets at an Evian shop in town and the bus will pick everyone up at a designated location. There are springs (fountains) of the water located in various places around town. You either run into one or you have to hunt it down. The original spot of the spring water is available for public access. You can bring your empty water bottles and fill them up there.

As for the hotel, the staff was nice. The room was fine and clean. There isn't anything worth complaining about since nothing went wrong. It's a resort-like hotel with full amenities; fitness center, pool, spa, business center, etc. It is recommended that food is available outside the hotel within the vicinity. Especially if you want to grab a bite for breakfast or a quick lunch.

The best thing about this hotel is the views that you get from your room. Try to get the higher floors facing the lake. There are balconies attached to these rooms where you can lounge in the chairs and stare at the scenery. The sunset was awesome! Now, the establishment is located on a slight elevated hill from the street. It's a bit of a walk up to the lobby.

We had a very nice time at the Hilton Evian-les-Bains. We were upgraded to an executive room with a beautiful lakeview balcony. We were visiting during Switzerland's National Swiss Day, so we were able to see fireworks from our balcony. The executive lounge had a great lakeview terrace - a perfect place to enjoy a nice cup of expresso. We will definitely return!

We spent a long weekend in Hilton Evian-les-Bains last summer. Because of our Hilton status we got an executive room and had the access to the executive lounge on the roof terrace. The room was nice, tidy and very well kept and featured a magnificent view over Lac Leman. The breakfast was on the roof terrace in the executive club with even greater view over the lake. The breakfast buffet was small but had all the things you would desire. The problem was the staff (always only one person), who was very much far behind with filling up the dishes or fetching things. Instead of waiting for e.g. ham, eggs or cheese, it was wiser to change your selection and take something else. Because it took ages before the missing item was available again. What was particularly disturbing was the cleanliness of the tables on the terrace. The breakfast leftovers from other people were left standing for a while , which made the big group crows land and rip everything off. Pieces of cheese, butter, plastic packages and bread were dropped everywhere on the terrace. There were bird excrements on the chairs. You could not leave the table, since the birds were aiming at your food. But nobody cared; the staff was always busy doing something else.
We tried the wok-restaurant; it was the worst food we ever ate. Actually, it is not possible to make a mistake when you’re stir-frying. Our meals tasted like detergent, since the cook did not wash off his tools properly. The manager tried to get us some other food; it was 11 p.m. until we got served and finally could eat. The other evenings we ate outside, since there is a myriad of sweet small restaurants in down-town Evian.
One day we wanted to hang by the pool. We were asked by the staff to pay 40€ per person as an entry fee. After a huge discussion we showed them our booking, where it said "pool usage included" so they had to let us in. Apparently the pool belonged to the spa and needed to be charged extra... The whole thing with the Buddha-Spa is to be understood in French way. If you have ever been in Asia, think of it as a European experience. We have seen better not only in Asia but also in Europe. Everything was dark and black colored, as if you have entered the underworld. The massage service was average. The indulging spa flare was completely missing.

Hilton has many things to improve in this hotel. I sincerely hope they will.

Facilities are excellent - free use of the pool and spa, which used to be charged. I was upgraded and had exec Lounge access. Excellent service there, and added to the value. Outdoor pool was chilly for the first length! But a very refreshing 'dip'. we travelled there from Lausanne by boat (from Geneva airport) which was a great way to start and end the trip. I've stayed at the hotel before for skiing trips, and the staff are very friendly - good response to pre-trip emails etc.

If you're able to get a room with a few of the lake it's great, but only when there is no event going on directly below the balconies, because these events run until early morning hours and the hotel is not doing anything about the noise - music and loud shouting and talking. Definetly do not accept a room to the bck, either you'll be facing the house next door or the wall with the back road around the hotel.
Even hilton honors members have to pay euro 13 for entrance to the "spa" which is a small indoor pool, a small sauna, a steam bath - there is no area to relax, if the weather is bad. One can also go to a small outdoor pool, which could use some good cleaning and maintenance - overall no spa experience. Forget about the executive club - besides the breakfast service, which is good, otherwise the hotel couldn't care less about their "best" customers, for cocktail hour one does not feel welcome.

It is very close to the boat dock but getting into the hotel was a challenge if you're 65 with joint replacements. The streets were fine, but the entrance to the hotel was up a steep, bumpy hill around the corner from their main restaurant, which was at street level. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nicely furnished. The bar apparently served food if you could get someone to take your order. We walked down to the main restaurant. The food and service there was good if not great. The overall sense of the hotel was as if it was planned to be some sort of resort-like property but was never fully realized. There were a lot of open spaces with no apparent purpose. Also a lot of wide outdoor stairs leading to seemingly small, pointless areas. The construction is on the side of a hill with no consideration for those arriving on foot (from the boat dock). The eating/drinking facilities are very much lacking in a sense of being welcoming and wanting you to eat or drink there. There was kind of a "cold" and "vacant or unoccupied" feeling to everything. It was nice for a night and it was the only Hilton in the area that would accept Hilton HHonors points. Maybe it wasn't their full "tourist" season since we were there in late May.
