“Great hotel with wonderful customer service!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 May 2014

Have stayed here twice and have enjoyed both times. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well situated to enjoy the city. The staff are incredibly accommodating and I have to highly recommend them. The rooms are very comfortable, and the morning breakfasts divine!
My last trip was during a period I could not walk on my foot and so was confined to a scooter to help me get around. Knowing Europe is not the most mobility impaired friendly locations, I was worried about how I would manage and maneuver. The hotel staff went above and beyond to assist me and ensure I was well taken care of- from ice to access to bringing the elevator to the street level to enable my mobility.
I will definitely stay there again on my next trip.

Room Tip: The rooms run warm, air conditioning does not stay on consistently. But, this could also have been m...

my second stay here. both times were great. easy access/walking distance to the TGV station, town center and tram. clean, comfy and amenity rich. internet access a little slow, like most hotels. e stars is a good reflection of quality and value. i highly recommend.

Room Tip: not applicable. don't have enough experience.

We stayed there while visiting a friend in Grenoble. The room was small for US standards, but regular for european standards. Breakfast was regular, nothing special. The drain in the bathroom was blocked and it flooded after showering. We called maintainance twice; they never came to deal with the issue. There might be somewhere better in the city.

We enjoyed a very spacious room in this centrally located hotel in Grenoble. Just a short 3 nights but it ticked all the boxes and more. And despite the bustling central location, it was peaceful and we had a good night´s rest upon our arrival and most importantly, prepped us well for our onward journey by road on our departure. little fuss at check-out over billing but that was sorted out professionally. Fact is servive was always very pleasnat throughout this short stay including our rather hurrried breakfasts each morning, or rather, cupfuls of coffee. The other items at breakfast were also delicious and pretty substantial and filling. Enjoyed the croissants, adequately fluffy and not too oily like many we had in france. I devoured 3 at each sitting!!

I chose this hotel because of the cool imagery on their website and was pleased that it delivered. Grenoble is a pretty big boring city, administrative and placid for a french city but well, I was there on business and meetings took up most of my time so having a proper place to unwind at night was all i needed and wife liked the location. Certainly have no qualms about staying here again if we are ever in need of a room in this city. The hotel has a nice historical design edgy feel and the bonus certainly was gettting a pretty good bang for the buck! Worth any consideration for a traveler in the area of Grenoble.

Room Tip: get a room on the higher floor

Finally a nice new hotel in Grenoble. Staff super friendly great location in the heart of town steps from the tram. New clean and modern. Rooms are typically tight but very comfortable. Overall excellent for a business trip or short tourist stay.

Positives first. The staff at this hotel are extremely helpful and courteous. In particular the housekeeping and breakfast room staff do a first class job. It is well positioned for access to all the main tourist sites. The hotel does however appear to have a problem in defining its personality. The exterior of the building is quite classical. The interior is very modern. No problem with that blend except the "modern" does not quite work. The public spaces are bright but for me rather too clinical. The real issues are however the rooms, or at least room 109. Firstly the very large, very uncomfortable and therefore very useless Big e chair does nothing for the room but waste space. How much better it would have been to provide a couple of simple but comfortable chairs. The shower design is also something of a problem. The screen is too narrow and one must place a rolled up towel along the floor to prevent water covering the whole area. However the biggest disappointment concerns the noise levels. The specific reason for choosing this hotel was that the windows were "triple glazed". Whether that is accurate or not it is clear that the windows are at least double glazed. However they do not keep out the noise. The conversations and vehicle traffic, including the very early morning street sweeper and garbage trucks are clearly audible inside the room and make sleeping difficult. Similarly, unless a dancing elephant managed to check into the room above, the noise transmission through the ceiling indicates a lack of adequate insulation. It is a real pity. For me, and I expect most people, one of the most important features of a hotel is that it provides an opportunity to get some decent rest. Notwithstanding all of the positives the hotel is not perfect and anyone thinking of staying should try for a room on the highest floor and ideally away from the street. Hopefully, not withstanding the apparently recent renovations, some thought might be given to focusing more on comfort and practicality and less on making the rooms look "trendy".

Room Tip: Go as high as possible and away from the street.

Good location at the city center, near to no car walking area bars, shops, restaurants. Very helpful and kind staff in reception.
Small rooms but clean and modern. Free wifi. I do recommend this hotel.
