Arriving from Italy with my family, we stayed at La Grange de Fourvière for a couple of days and enjoyed it very much. The location is great, the apartment has a very nice view and there are a lot of restaurants around. The rooms were beautifuly decorated, new and impeccably clean. Catherine was an amazing host, made us a very good breasfast with delicious homemade jams. I highly recommend La Grange de Fourvière for your next stay in Lyon!!! I will definitevely be back!

Catherine was an absolute delight! Very helpful too.
The room is gorgeous including the window view. The location is ideal. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. A magical old city area is 5 min walk. Ideal for romantic couple nights stay. Great breakfast. Catherine was very considerate to my food allergies and made my stay worry free.
Excellent!

An ideal location only a few minutes walk from the old centre of Lyon - a lovely city.

The B&B is perfect, Catherine is a very friendly welcoming host, the B&B is tastefully decorated, newly refurbished, comfortable rooms, quiet with safe private car parking.

We had 2 lovely nights here, we booked the smallest of the 2 rooms Vol de Nuit, which suited us fine, adequate, comfortable, very clean with beautiful bathroom.

Breakfast was good, typical French pastries, bread, preserves, jams, coffee and juice.

Room Tip: Vol de Nuit is a small room, but is absolutely fine, tastefully decorated with plenty of storage spa...

This B&B is a great place to stay in Lyon. It is located on the hill above the Vieux Lyon, in a very pretty and quiet neighbourhood with a village feel. Yet, it is only minutes away from the hustle and bustle if the Old Town.
The rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty - besides the fresh bread, croissants and cakes, we could also enjoy homemade yoghurt and a variety of homemade jams.
Catherine, the Owner, was great at recommendations about the city, both for things to do and restaurants, tailoring her advice to what her guests were interested in.
Last but not least in a city like Lyon where parking could be an issue - the B&B has a couple of free parking spaces.
Great spot for a city break or, like in our case, for quick visit combined with a ski trip. We will certainly go back again!

This B&B is very well located five minutes walk from the funicular leading to the center of town, and 15 minutes walk from “Vieux Lyon,” the historic district filled with good restaurants and bars. The St. Just neighborhood where it is located is picturesque and historic; it has great views over the city and felt very safe. There is a street market with wonderful cheeses, fruits and vegetables just around the corner.
Our room was spacious and clean, although it was in a semi-basement without much of a view. There is a kitchenette and lounge area available for guests; which makes it very convenient for families with young children. There were two families with babies staying when we were there.
Madame was very helpful; she gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner in Vieux Lyon, which was a pleasant walk from the B&B.

Room Tip: Like many B&B’s, La Grange does not accept credit cards, so make sure you have the cash on hand.

We booked two nights, needing a central location close to the places we wanted to see. We didn't want to drive any more than we had to, and the bed and breakfast offered free parking. We ended up staying 3 nights, as the bed and breakfast was a good choice for our needs.

The neighborhood at first, seemed a bit rough. However, after getting past our initial misgivings, we found the area has a lot to offer. A small grocery is across the street. A laundry is two blocks away. ATMs are close by. Restaurants and eating places are an easy stroll away. The cathedral and roman ruins are a15-20 minute walk. So is the vernacular that gives easy access to the old city. Beyond our initial feelings, we never felt uncomfortable walking around the area, even at night.

Our room was located in a walk-out basement. It was tastefully decorated and had its own shower and toilet. The bed was comfortable. We also had access to a shared kitchen, refrigerator, and sitting room.

The hostess served a good breakfast of juices, homemade breads and jelly, and fresh fruit. She was friendly, hospitable and very helpful.

The only negative was the lack of a fan to circulate air. Also, a top sheet (although uncommon in France?) would be helpful for those nights when a blanket is too warm. However, I would have no qualms about staying here again, and would give the place a 5 rating, with a fan in the room.

Room Tip: We had a room that faced the street and market. With the window open, some street noise was evident...
