“Amazing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 July 2014

Appreciated learning about the famous individuals from Lyon and walking up and down the Fourviere Hill. Guide was excellent and answered all questions with facts. The highlight of the tour and area was witnessing the process of printing designs on silk and learning how the process works today as well as in the past.

“Roman ruins and chapel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 July 2014

The trip with the funicular was a first one for me. The chapel is right outside the station. The roman ruins and amphitheatre are now used for shows. Decked up with lights and sound system the place was being readied for some music show.

“Scenic walk, nice exercise!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 July 2014

After stopping at one of the Bouchon's for lunch I climbed up this steep Hill. It was quite a workout but was a great view of the city while at the top. It's cool to see Lyon from the top of the Cathedral and. It's like a mini "Le Sacre Coeur" and the mini "Eiffel Tower" stands right next to it. It's cute.

“Great views. Great exercise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2014

There are beautiful views of the city and lots of history around and in the cathedral. We took the funicular up thank goodness. We did walk down and smiled at the people walking up.
