This is a street with a lot of "regular" stores, and some typical.
Nice walk in city centre, but not so impressive if you consider other Cities in French.
Anyway a nice walk.

This is one of the main streets within Lyon for shopping and is completely pedestrian. A great place to spend a Saturday afternoon.

If you want to see the historical and cultural sights, then take the hop-on, hop-off bus tour. If you like to shop for some of the finer things in life, then this area has great shops and department stores. We were there in the peak of the end of season sales and we were able to claim some really good bargains at massive savings. (Discounts were being offered from 20% to 70%). It will take at least a day to do justice to the area and remember that shops generally open from 10am to 12 and then from 2pm to 7pm. Beware that many smaller stores will be closed Mondays!

The whole area around here and the various shops and restaurants. You will need at least 2 hours to explore the area. The area is easily accessible by Metro ( the most cost effective way to travel) as are most areas of Lyon. The food in most places in Lyon is of a high standard.

A rather bland street with downtrodden looking buildings and ordinary chain shops. Not much character at all!!
