The hotel was clean and the breakfast was good. The beds were okay, but one was a sofa bed and not the best. However, one of the two stairwells was out of order, the room was very tiny, and the part of the bathroom where the toilette was was so small that a plus size person could not have fit.

Reception staff were very helpful and kind to our children when we stayed for two nights en route from Italy to Paris.
The room was okay (with a double sofa bed for kids), but felt cramped for a family of four. Big thumbs up for the en suite though which had a really lovely shower. Downside was the foul stench of sewage which pervaded the bathroom and then the corridor after a torrential downpour outside on a couple of occasions.
The breakfast was good and plentiful. We had dinner one night - the children's meals were good. I was pretty disappointed with mine especially for the money paid. 11E for some not very nice vegetables and plain bowl of spaghetti. A shame - although I noted a couple of other reviewers say to avoid the restaurant, I'd have maybe tried it the second night had it been a bit cheaper.
The free wi fi turns itself off all the time so was a bit hopeless.
The main annoyance for me was the cost of parking 24E for 24hrs. What a rip-off!!
Location is not very good for tourists without a car. We were directed to the Aquarium which isn't far; however, due to roadworks and construction of tramlines etc, we couldn't physically walk there. We gave up! We ended up taking 2 metros (station is a fairly long walk for small kids from hotel) to Vieux Lyon which was a pretty area to explore but an hour's journey to get to. I wouldn't recommend it for those who wish to explore Lyon with a family.

Visiting a nearby company, I stayed in this hotel and I got all I needed. Spacious rooms with separate toilets. Proper access to the internet. Breakfast was fine, but nothing special. I had dinner in the restaurant, but next time I would go out for a more challenging place. It is on the border of the river Rhone and that was nice for a pre- or after dinner walk.
One day was fine. Staying here for a week would be a bit boring.

I stayed here at this hotel for just one night, as we had stopped by at Lyon as part of our tour of France. I was a part of a group of 40 people. I got a corner room on one of the top floors. The location is nice, hotel is nice and clean. I got a very nice city view from the corner room of my hotel. Bathroom are well appointed and very large. Breakfast was nice and lots of variety. I recommend this hotel if you are in Lyon.

Room Tip: Choose a room on a higher floor for a good city view

I stayed at The Hotel on business in Lyon. For a start, the entrance is not easy to find. It's on the corner of a major Road Junction and if you are not careful, you can spend ages trying to find out how to get on! It is reasonably near to The Olympique Lyonnaise Football Stadium which was helpful from my point of view. The rooms are spacious and clean and breakfast was plentiful and well presented. They lack in provision for business services and the Internet access in the foyer is hopeless. The highlight of my trip to Lyon was the Rhone Express which offers a quick and pleasant to transfer from the airport. Nice hotel but not much good for business trips.

First of all, the hotel is maintaining its standards wherever i stay in this hotel - whether in Lyon, Reims, Paris, etc. The rooms are spacious and large with all the basic needs, equipped with TV sets having access to worldwide channels. The location is just right near to the river and shopping mall. The staff is friendly and helping.

Perfect overnight stay for us, friendly staff always willing to help. Evening meal menu not ideal for our young children but quality of food excellent if a little overpriced. Good breakfast and comfortable beds.
