I stayed here one night expecting that the Local Football Club Olympique Lyonnaise played at the nearby Stadium but overlooked the fact that they have moved to a splendid new Stadium some way away!
Never mind, it was still easy to get to using the Line B Metro to the Centre and a Matchday link.
The hotel is nice and bright and very clean. The Staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms comfortable and have everything you might need for a one night stay. The bar and snack food area is accessible and represents good value.
The Breakfast is very, very basic and apart from 'boil your own' eggs, offers no cooked options. But it is reasonably priced even though it does have a coffee machine rather than the real thing served in pots.
So, all in all, good value for a one night stay in Lyon, close to the Metro and next time in Lyon if I can't get a Hotel near to the New Stadium, I would happily stay again.

This IBIS is only some 4 kilometres from the A7 coming from the South. Excellent access. There are free parkings avalable at a side street. To go to town center there is a Metro Station and Tramway station nearby. Very conveniant. Confluence Museum is on 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel. there are several restaurants nearby if you don't prefer the downtown establishements. the only thin we didn't like was the "artificial" IBIS ham at breakfast, otherwise the breakfast buffé was good..

Room Tip: We were at the parking side. No noise and we could see the Museum at a distance!

So it was a one night stay here for me.

This is an Ibis, and it's typically Ibis style. Fairly basic, but functional rooms. Clean. Perfectly OK.

Staff were friendly. There is a small bar / food area and handily they do some basic meals 24 hours a day.

Breakfast was a typical French breakfast of ham, cheese, bread, yogurt. Nice enough but not exceptional.

I would have rated this 4 stars had I been paying normal Ibis rates but I was staying for the Euro football semi final and the rate was very expensive (in common with other Lyon hotels).

It's a bit out of the centre of town but there is a metro station a couple of minutes walk away. Handily this is on the direct line to the town centre TGV rail station, part dieu, which is just a few stops away. You can also change off this line for a short tram journey to the old town part of Lyon. Getting around was easy.

There are a couple of restaurants and a bar nearby.

Here for one night for the Euros Semi Final.

Short walk to the Metro and 5 stops to main train station (Part Dieu) and city centre.

Welcome was friendly, staff very helpful, room was clean.

Can't ask for any more for the price paid.

You're not paying for a quality experience and this place is pretty basic. Has free parking and is a 3 minute walk to the metro, so it's convenient. Bed is ok, bathroom is functional. Overall, room is small but clean, no complaints. It's in a quiet area, so good for light sleepers.
