We stayed for one night with our teenage daughter and thought that 129 Euro was good value. The suite actually felt like a small appartment. You step into a hallway off of which is a large bathroom, a well equipped kitchen, a bedroom and a large lounge/diner with fold down bed. The hotel is in a pleasant residential area and has private secure parking or you could very easily park on the street for free. A small supermarket is just a 2 minute walk away. For restaurants the walk is a good 15 minutes but we found the hotel restaurant to be excellent. If you want the buzz of this great city then stay closer to the centre, if not this place is ideal.

We stayed in this hotel in August 2010 - August by the way is when Lyon is 'dead' , almost everyone is gone on holiday. We paid on-line E142 per night, inclusive of breakfast, for a one bedroom suite which was excellent value. The suites lack a degree of charm but they are functional and are impeccably clean. The bed could have been more comfortable. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is very good. The location is not brillliant as it takes at least 30 mins to walk into town, or 20mins to the nearest metro station, so you may be tempted to take the occasional taxi (E6/10) to/from the hotel. The park opposite the hotel is a gem and is the home to the largest botantical gardens in France. Next time, I would look for accommodation inside the town area but this hotel is an excellent alternative.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights late July 2010 with 3 children aged 3-9. The suite was actually huge (executive suite), with a large living room, a spacious bedroom and a seperate kitchen. The decor is not stylish, but nice and not (that) outdated. The hotel itself seems to be a combined business hotel (long stay) and during the holiday a one night sleep over during trips south or north.

The service at the reception was OK, and quite good in the breakfast room, and the breakfast is above averag.

All in all an OK experience, and I would give this hotel 4 "stars" if the location had been a bit better. It is quite a walk to the old town (the riverfront is pretty close, though), and it is primarily a residential area without restaurants close to the hotel. Further I still get irritated when a hotel does not provide free WIFI.

PS: The huge public park with an impressive (though not that large) Zoo with free entrance is very close to the hotel.

Decided to treat ourselves to a stay here on our last night in France. There were 5 of us, 3 adults and 2 children so a suite actually worked out cheaper than getting hotel rooms. This was the childrens first experience of staying in a hotel and I fear any subsequent stays will be a dissappointment. Their faces and cries of excitement when they entered the apartment still make me smile. The apartment was out of this world. The furnishings were elegant and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped with its own balcony and the living room also had a balcony with a table and 4 chairs. The views were beautiful over Parc Tete d'Or. It was a 20 minute walk into the Centre Ville along the river and over a bridge. It is a 10 minute bus ride from Part Dieu Station and about a 50E fare to the airport. All in all this is the best apartment I have ever stayed in. Matthieu at reception is very friendly and helpful. All the ataff were friendly and you felt they would do anything to ensure that you had a good stay. Would recommend this to anyone and will definately stay here again.

Spent two nights here and loved everything about it. The front desk staff could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Nice quiet neighborhood, huge suite. A bit of a walk to the metra but close to the river and across from a fabulous park. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone.
