We stayed at this hotel for one night and we can highly recommend it. The Hotel looks nice, the room we got was nice and clean and the breakfast area really neat. The breakfast was also really good. The hotel is located just by the main train station and the airport tram stops right in front of the hotel so the location is really convenient. The only complaint I have is the price of water in the lobby, 5 euros for one bottle (which is not a real complaint but since we arrived after midnight and needed water we had to get one). Staff really friendly and helpful and the hotel has a nice atmosphere. Will consider staying there again, would consider a hotel in/near the old town though.

This hotel did a very good job for its price point. The furnishings were modern and the hotel looks reasonably new. We stayed in 2 rooms as a party of five. We had double beds in each room for the adults, which were comfortable. Our child used a pull out sofa as an extra bed, which was already set up for us upon arrival. The bed had exposed metal edges which ended up causing a small injury, so we needed to be careful when our child was getting in/out of bed.

The room had a good size to hold our luggage, and a desk area as well as a rack to hang clothing on. There weren't enough electricity plugs to charge all of our devices (iPhone, iPad, camera battery, laptop, Blackberry) so we had to rotate. The room had wireless internet which was reasonably fast, free, and worked on all of our devices. The windows were double paned, and really blocked out the majority of noises. They could be opened, which we found handy after we showered, to remove the moisture.

The bathroom had a toilet room, a bathtub with handheld shower on a pole, and a sink. The floor had a funky river stone pattern which was a theme throughout the hotel. A combined shampoo/body soap was provided in a permanent large container. Our child was also given a tube of child friendly soap. Towels were thin but adequate. There was a faint sewer smell coming from the drain, but we weren't overly bothered by it.

The hotel serves free breakfast. We were lucky that the hotel wasn't crowded so we could find a table easily. If the hotel was full, it would seem very difficult to find a table. The food was adequate -- bread to toast, chocolate croissants, ham, cheese, cereals, and some yogurt/fruit. The nicest touch was an orange juicer, which guests could operate by themselves. Coffee and tea were served from single serving machines.

We also stopped at the bar area for a drink one night. There is a basic drinks menu -- cocktails, beer, some wine and soft drinks. Not cheap, just adequate if you want a round before bed.

The hotel validates parking at a 50% discount for the public lot downstairs. This reduced the overnight charge from 25 Euros to 12.50, which is a great discount. The parking lot isn't directly connected to the hotel, so you need to exit to the street and then walk down to the hotel entrance. (The Mercure in the same building does have a connection.)

The hotel's location was convenient, with the TGV station next door, and various tram and bus services in the immediate area. The express train to the airport was literally a block away from the hotel entrance. So while this hotel is away from the historic area, it's easily reachable.

Overall, we found the hotel to be convenient and adequate at the price point, with a staff who tried their best to make the experience helpful. It would have been nice to have a few more luxurious touches, but given the reasonable price, we couldn't really hope for more.

Room Tip: Rooms overlook the train station or the roads. Children will definitely enjoy the trains. The think double window keep noise to a minimum either way.

Being a female single traveller, areas around trainstations aren't my favourate locations in general, but I definately feel this hotel belongs, together with the ETAP and Mercure next door, to the ones I could return to.
The hotel is soundproofed, and if you have a light sleep, ask a room at the streetside, not the station side of the hotel.
I had a double room, which was tiny, and I had to put my luggage on the floor, as the space for luggage wasn't big enough to hold my not very large suitcase.
This said, it was very clean, the shower was great, and everyone was very nice. The breakfast area was very crowded, and when I went to get a coffee, my breakfast had already been cleared away. It also happened to others I noticed.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the streetside, it is not busy and you won't hear the trains if you wake up easily.
