Stayed here for a week. Selected the hotel from a search engine and not knowing Lyon at all we wondered what we might end up with. All fears were allayed by a very positive experience. Staff without exception were very helpful , breakfast was top class, and the bedroom etc very comfortable.
For me the greatest positive of a hotel is that you can open a bedroom window and hear virtually nothing ( I hate air conditioning) and sleep through the night with the window still open. You can do so here as the hotel faces a largely pedestrianised square.
Hotel is very central...we walked everywhere.
Only draw back was a very comfortable bar with rather expensive drinks.....as an alternative try a local comptoir. And one pet hate, no action was taken by staff when a guest had breakfast when dressed in running shorts.......a small shortcoming.

Room Tip: A Room facing the square on a higher floor.

We stayed here for a couple nights and had an excellent experience. The staff was very welcoming and gave us lots of great advice on restaurants. We went to Lyon to eat and their help brought us to a couple bouchons we might not have found otherwise.

The rooms are very clean and stylish. We had a small balcony, which was nice. The bed was very comfortable and the linens white and fresh.

Breakfast was a massive buffet comprised of breads, jams, meats, cheese, fruit and more.

The location was just off the pedestrian shopping zone and only minutes to the bridges leading to old town.

Highly recommend.

We spent two nights in this hotel, our first trip to Lyon. The hotel is ideally situated, being on the peninsula, close to the two rivers, the shopping area, within walking distance of the Basilica, etc.

When we arrived, our car was whisked away to a safe, secure parking space (our friend had done a reccie of the parking). We were helped with our luggage, shown to our room and able to relax. The bathroom was great. I would have preferred more storage space and better lighting in the room, but these are small requirements. The sound proofing was so good that we slept in !

The staff were good.

I would come back to this hotel if I return to Lyon.

I must admit we picked this hotel because of the excellent recommendations it received on trip advisor and fortunately it lived up to the billing.

We had a superior room which was lovely and very quiet, it was hard to believe there were any other guests in the hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive, especially the lady who looked after us at breakfast who put up with my schoolboy French. Talking of breakfast, this was a fantastic buffet with plenty for all tastes.

My only criticism is that the hotel doesn't have its own restaurant however it partners a restaurant next door for evening meals. We tried this for one evening meal and wouldn't repeat the experience as the quality was poor and over priced. I would recommend going for a short walk to one on the local Bouchons which served really excellent well priced food.
