“Best deal for business trips and travelers”
Reviewed 13 April 2013

Great location 2 minutes on foot from the la part dieu train station, so if you ate coming by train, it is ideal.
Room: very large, approx 20m, separate toilets and large bathroom, with Italian shower style, all amenities, large led tv screen (116cm), very comfortable large bed, smooth carpet everywhere, totally isolated from noise, free wifi, small fridge with free bottle of water, tea, coffee...

Very bright and clean!!
Breakfast: bio area, all French pastries, fresh bred, cereals, eggs, fruit and fruit salads, a lot of attention to detail and excellent service.

Diner: tasty choice even if not a lot of choice, but a great alternative if you are tired to go out to eat in a Bouchon.

Reception very helpful.

They keep your luggage after check out.

I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel was modern, clean, comfortable and friendly. Staff were very helpful and efficient. A convenient transfer to the Exupery airpot is located steps from the front door. The fare for the tram is 13.50 euros and it speeds you to the airport in 1/2 hour vs. about 60 euros by cab. You can walk to many restaurants in the area. Absolutely no noise in the rooms even though the train station is next door because there a two sets of double glazed windows. Breakfast is available for 13.50 euros, but we opted for lighter fare that is available in the nearby shopping mall with plenty of choices and in walking distance. Free WIFI, nice sized TV, coffee/tea maker. Would chose this hotel again while in Lyon.

This hotel is not in the center of Lyon, but has access to every mode of transportation available. Especially useful, across the street from Rhonexpress which takes you directly to the airport for 15 euro. There is much shopping and restaurants in the area and a mall right behind the hotel. the room was large with a separate toilet in another room, t.v., mini fridge and an included buffet breakfast. a smoking room available.

Room Tip: 104 smoking room. Rooms have double paned windows so no noise.

I found the hotel was perfectly located for travelling to the airport. Right be the Tram to the airport! You should organise a Lyon travel and museum card which is really useful and can bring about great savings.

I found the hotel peaceful and clean. The room was large. Separate toilet and separate shower room - excellent shower. The breakfast was extremely good with a wide variety of choice and fresh orange juice (albeirt in a bottle).

The hotel is not near the Old Town but it is an easy metro or bus ride.

I considered this hotel great value and it suited my needs perfectly.

If you come by TGV very near the train station. The soundisolation is excellent. You can not hear the traffic. The metro and the "transport commun" in Lyon is very good organised and nearby the hotel. We had à privilege room. Good bed, free non alcoholic beaverages in the mini bar. Nespresso machine. Extremely large tv. Excellent business hotel. Also good for visiting Lyon.
In the weekend the proces are much cheaper.

Room Tip: Chose à privilege room.

We spent a couple of days in Lyon and arrived via the TGV. The hotel is literally 50 meters from the exit of the station, yet the room had 2x double glazed windows (4 layers all up) and was dead silent, despite our room looking right over the station, very impressed!

The location does look to be a business area, however the metro system is very easy to use and has English options in the menus, so we had no problems buying tickets from the machine and then catching the metro a couple of stops to the old town. We also walked to the old town which took about 20mins.

The Center Commercial is less than 5mins walk which has a massive Carrefour supermarket and loads of other shops and some food options too.

The hotel room itself was huge, I would liken it more to the size of a suite, as it also had a lounge. The tv would have been about 55inch, much bigger than we expected. All including the bathrooms (which had a separate toilet) were very modern. Note that this was just a standard room that we paid for.

Highly recommend this hotel for anyone, unless you have your heart set on staying in the old town the whole time. But being able to jump off the TGV and roll the suitcase 50 meters to the hotel was bliss and at an excellent price.
