If you are arriving on the train, take the Porte des Alpes to exit the station, turn right and the hotel is already visible, about 50m away on the right.
The staff were very polite and the rooms were excellent. The TV in my room must have been at least 60” and the bed was very comfortable. My room overlooked the train station, but the windows kept all the sound out.
You can also hire a car at the station, so it’s a great combination of train/car/hotel.
I ate in the restaurant, and while the food wasn’t particularly to my taste, it was well cooked and presented. It was tapas actually.
Overall, the location is excellent, and the quality of the hotel makes it a no-brainer for me when I’m in Lyon.
