Booked a table for valentine's day with the special menu. The entree was ok. My main dish was fish covered in champagne sauce, but the sauce had so much vanilla in it that it was completely unpleasant as a sauce for fish. My DH's beef with mushroom sauce was bland. He makes this dish much better himself. Dessert was also a disappointment with an overwhelming amount of chocolate. We were quite disappointed as we had been really looking forward to trying this place.

This lovely restaurant is difficult to find and you might very well just pass it by. Please don't.
The food is fantastic, as good as any 2 star restaurant , without the price.
We had lunch there and it was superb and very reasonalby priced. You can choose from a three course lunch or a two course lunch. We had pumpkin soup, it was excellent and then veal for the main course.
The food was so good that I had a dessert, creme brulée, AWESOME !!!!!!!! They are so generous with the portions, bread basket keeps being refilled.
The decor is just lovely, it is an old buiding,, but they have renovated it and it is a mix of old and new, but so beautifully done.
So relaxing, beautiful, good service, good food at reasoanble prices, what more could you want ?

Make a reservation well in advance and go hungry. Do not be put off that the place is a little far flung in the 18th. Every effort you make is well worth the experience. And no mind that the tables are close -- its Paris. Everything we had was miraculous and every single plate that we saw collected by the servers was licked clean. Portions are huge, cooking on the newer side of classic, and a great value. The suckling pig was superb as was the surprising dark chocolate dessert. Anything and everything here is magnificent.
