This was an excellent place to stay, but just a little bit too far on foot from the old town to do each day. Confluence is an up and coming area undergoing urban renewal. There are lots of transport options incuding an inexpensive hourly boat to the old town on the Saone. Very helpful staff, good size rooms modern clean opposite a lively church quiet.

This is the best hotel that we have stayed at in Europe. The lobby is inviting and relaxing. The staff at the desk are very helpful and pleasant. We received assistance with a smile on different occasions from different staff members. This reflects well on the level of training and management. The room was large for Europe, and there was a small kitchenette for cooking and keeping drinks cold in a fridge. The A/C worked like a dream, and the bed was just right. It is located close to one of the train stations, an easy walk to a great mall, and close to where you can pick up the on/off bus for sight-seeing. Best place we have ever stayed in Lyon - only place we'd come back to in Lyon.

Room Tip: Couldn't imagine that any room wouldn't be good here.

Very friendly and helpful reception service is our memorable experience here. We were personally shown around and given suggestions for our stay. The room was larger than average and quite OK, except we were not impressed with paper cups and plastic glasses. The location is off the edge of the city centre so a 20 minute walk to the main tourist areas. There are some eating places locally but the area is a bit on the rundown side. But perfectly safe from what we could see.

Its a 80usd cab ride from the airport, but well worth it. The rooms are fine. A queen bed and a double in the corner. Small table and they have a refrigerator in the room you can use to store your drinks. Exercise room was adequate and they have a laundry room you can use. Breakfast was good and they have a nice selection. Better than the Club Room at the Crowne Plaza-Paris I was in a few days prior. Staff was helpful. My room faced the court yard. I slept with the balcony doors open all night. The A/C didn't work too well. The church bells go off at 8am, so I used that as my alarm clock. A shopping mall is a couple blocks away and they have some very good dining areas on the top floor to sit outside and enjoy the view and the weather. In the other direction, you have a dry cleaner several places to eat, a cozy little tavern with very friendly people to meet within 2 blocks. 4 block walk to the train station and just the other side of the station are a few other good places to eat and enjoy a Guinness and a burger. I don't understand France and their hamburgers. Everyplace I went, burgers were 18uro (around 25.00) Its just a burger, maybe they use prime rib here to make the things. Of course, I found the Sushi bar there and another one in the mall.

Something between 3 and 4 stars. As for France quite ok. Air-conditioning worked well. Not so bad, as expected, especially in case of temperature (outside was +34!). Too expensive for this area and standard, but not bad indeed. I was angry, because of common door between rooms, but thanks to my "neighbor" was ok. Good, that there were window-blinds.

Hello. We just arrived today june 7, a hot day 89 f. When we arrived, the first thing, all parking is booked. The only reason we choose this hotel was because the parking, no web site says it was limited. So we parked where we found expectating that the car will be there tomorow. Second, AIR CONDITION DOES NOT WORK, we requested to be moved, but when we check other rooms is the same. Maybe this hotel has good reviews because during cold days, that is not a problem but today it is. Third, This is in the middle of nowhere. Everything is very far away.
I just hope I could see a review like mine before booking. Tonite will be a nightmare..it is so hot that my preassure will explode. The room is big, clean, the only problem is NO PARKING AND NO AIR CONDITION.

I arrived late and left at check-out the following morning, so my experience with this hotel was not extensive, but the staff was very accommodating and friendly and the rooms were very well laid out and spacious and the bed was comfy. They have a VERY large, secured parking area, so parking is easy to find, which can sometimes be challenging in Europe.

If i'm ever in Lyon again I will definitely consider this hotel again, it was convenient to the highway and was an overall pleasant experience.
