Me and some friends were there just for one night, as the day after we had to continue traveling. The first room I got did not have a working light, and my friends who were in the room next to me had a wet towel, and the room was not clean... they changed us to a "better" room, in aspect everything was the same, at least no dirt was visible... I would definitely not recommend it for long stays...

It's one of the cheapest hotels you can find in a good area in Lyon, that's for sure. But besides being absolutely terrible to sleep in because of all the noise that comes from the street, the bathroom is ridiculous. There is a plastic curtain that divides the toilet from the shower, that is, all the water goes everywhere inside the cabin, which is very tiny, but the way.

The hotel is good except for the bathroom which is veeeery small. It's comparable to an airplaine restroom. When you take shower, everything gets wet, even the room.
However, it has very good location, near to the mall where you can find Galeries Lafayette (which for me was too expensive) and many other stores more accessible regarding $$. Metro and train stations are also near to the hotel.

This is a simple, generic hotel...as one would expect from a Premiere Classe hotel. It offers clean and affordable accommodation a short walk from Gare Part Dieu while not being too far from the city (but it's not exactly central). The room was just fine for me as a solo traveller staying for one night. Had a nice view looking out towards the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to the budget weary traveller looking for a good place to stay for one or two nights.

Pluses of this place are well explained in other reviews: it's relatively cheap, and near a railway station.

The downsides are: it has zero character, the rooms (at least the one we stayed in) are cramped, the bathroom is a tiny plastic all-in-one capsule, the view is of wasteland and the railway tracks, the immediate area is uninspiring. All in all, a mite depressing.

There isn't really any 'service' from the staff who do smile and say 'bonjour' but basically sit behind a desk at the entrance (there isn't a foyer, presumably so more bedrooms can be crammed in). They don't even sell bottles of water (they said there are small plastic cups in the room). We didn't brave the breakfast. The cleaning staff were good, and the room was reasonably clean.

The 'room for three' includes a bunk bed up near the ceiling at 90 degrees to the two other beds lower down. The TV seems to have all the main French stations. Nor sure about soundproofing as it seemed pretty empty at the end of February, start of March, but I have the feeling it would be pretty noisy (and the density of guests would be high).

So other than for a night before catching a train, better to fork out some extra (if you have it) and find a hotel in the older part of the city, where you have ready access to the cobbled street, grey rivers and overpriced tourist restaurants and cafes. Or maybe just avoid Lyon entirely?

Room Tip: Three people in a room for three would be very cramped. I would suspect all the rooms are pretty muc...

This hotel is convenient if needing to travel to and from the station Gare Part Dieu, however the area itself doesn't really showcase the best of what Lyon has to offer. It is a decent few km's from the city centre but for a short stay it is fine. There is a metro station also about a 5-10 minute walk away.
The hotel itself was simple but has everything you needed. Our room was a good size, but the bathroom was on the smaller side. Wi-fi available in the rooms and the TV had a variety of channels (all in French though).
Good overall for a short stay.

I travelled with friends and we urgently needed a room to stay for one night, as our plans had changed and this hotel was a great choice. It's cheap, basic and clean. The rooms are small and bathrooms are really tiny but it's not a problem. Beds are very comfortable, we slept like babies :) Aircon works wonders during heatwave and WiFi is free and pretty fast. The location couldn't be better if you need to leave early next day - Lyon Part Dieux station is a few meters away.
