“Nice first meal in Lyon”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

The dishes tasted very fresh and service was wonderful! She got my order wrong at first but immediately rushed back to the kitchen to ask the chef to cook my original order. She left the wrong order with me to fork around with for a while while I wait. My steak (original order) came out in five minutes and it tasted amazing!

“Interesting food and friendly attentive service”
Reviewed 21 May 2014

We tried this restaurant on a short trip to Lyon and were not disappointed. It certainly fits in with Lyon's reputation as a gourmet capital, and it is very reasonably priced. The service was friendly, attentive and helpful. The menu is limited, perhaps a little too much so if one chooses the full menu degustation, but the food is original and exciting, prepared by a talented young chef who has a flair for putting together interesting, slightly unusual flavours and ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish except one. Unfortunately my steak was over-cooked and dry, but the chef came out personally to apologise and an adjustment was made on the bill. One cannot ask for more. Everyone makes occasional mistakes. The restaurant is quite small and cosy, and managed by a team of young enthusiasts who are clearly passionate about what they do. Don't go here if you are looking for traditional French fare, or local specialities, but if you like something a bit edgy, modern, interesting and different this could be the place for you.

“Posh Nosh but not at posh prices”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

We dined here on a Friday night, not quite knowing what to expect but knowing there must be something about it after reading TA reviews.

The menu was just three starters and three mains and sweets. All were really well presented, a bit posh if you like, but they all had lots of interesting stuff running through all the dishes to make an interesting experience and at a really good price. The raw fish dishes were especially good (and I thought I didn't eat raw fish! Yum)

Maybe not quite our cup of tea but would certainly recommend it.

“Original and great value - must try”
Reviewed 25 April 2014 via mobile

We were looking for somewhere a bit different and with good reviews to try during our short stay in Lyon, and weren't disappointed. My boyfriend and I don't speak much French but that wasn't a problem - the waitress was very friendly and helpful and her English was excellent. She put us at ease and explained what every dish was and gave us some tips as well, and one of the chefs also came out to explain how the food had been cooked in lots of detail. Each dish was very original and delicately cooked with care (for example, the poached egg in my starter was cooked at 65 degrees for 45mins). The 3 course meal with an amuse-bouche was only €29, and €34 with an additional cheese course - also excellent. Definitely worth a visit.

“Amazing: fresh and original menu in Lyon”
Reviewed 23 April 2014

This restaurant was one of the best I have eaten at in a long time. The menu changes regularly, and is both inventive and incredibly fresh.

Though the 3-word menu descriptions didn't tempt me outright, the actual food was amazing.

Though the asparagus was perfectly cooked and the fish was lightly crispy to perfection, my favorite dish was the rhubarb dessert, complete with rose-infused tapioca and mascarpone cream. So original, and so very delicious.

There are many great places to eat in Lyon, but this restaurant is a must-try. The service is friendly, and both of the servers knew the dishes very well.

Also: 3 courses for lunch is 22 euros - excellent price for central Lyon in a high-quality restaurant.

We will be back - soooon!
