Okko staff were friendly upon arrival and our room overlooked the river... beautiful. Amazing inclusions are what Okko pride themselves on, such as snacks and drinks available all day in Le Club from breakfast onwards, breakfast with all room bookings, as well as their aperitivo service between 6:30pm - 9:30pm (complimentary food and drinks). The room and bed were comfortable and shower pressure strong, despite a strange shower/bathroom layout. The shower is near the door of the bathroom, so you need to walk through it to get to the vanity and toilet. If someone is in the toilet, or using the vanity area, they have to wait for the person in the shower (if in use) to finish before they can get out. This also means that the wet area has to be stepped on or over when accessing these other facilities, leaving you with wet feet each time. This was the only quirk of the hotel room. Movies on demand and an array of channels were available for viewing and the large, heavy double set of windowed bifold doors could be opened to allow fresh air in and kept all street noise out when closed. Heavy blinds meant that the room was completely dark at night too, despite being right on the lit up Street.

Wouldn't even consider other hotels if returning to Lyon.

Thank you Okko for a fantastic stay in Lyon.

Visited this hotel last week with my husband and we loved it. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, the room was very clean, the bed very comfortable but best of all was the aperitif - a glass of wine and exquisite French food all included in the price (plus free tea and coffee all day). A couple of minor points - there should have been some drawers in the room - and we wished for more privacy in the bathroom area.

We stayed in OKKO for two nights for a weekend for a couple.

The room was small (which could have been okay) and the room design, although a nice attempt to make it functional and contemporary, did not help much.

A few annoying things:
- Inconvenient lighting/switch system.
- Transparent walls to WC (in our room, the WC was virtually in the center of the room, with a shower cabin behind it) there was some curtain, but also semi-transparent
- No shelf in the shower cabin to put a shampoo or a soap
- No shampoo provided - you have to go down to reception and ask for it.
- No place for suitcases
- Cheap plastic furniture/mattress/bed linens, pretending to be eco-friendly or design chic
- Complicated wi-fi connection and especially re-connection

Breakfast: DIY concept. Long shared tables as in cafeteria. Long cues to coffee machines (not okay for a four-star hotel!). No options for warm meals except boiling eggs.

And finally, there is no bar in the hotel. To have a drink, one can not easily get one as all bottles are located in a special locker. One first has to go to reception and ask a staff member to open the locker.

Overall, this is NOT a four-star hotel. The level of comfort and convenience is three star at its best.

We stayed here for a trip for my Mum's 60th birthday for 2 nights and couldn't of had a better time. It is in a great position close the new and old town. The staff were friendly and approachable. The Club is definitely the best part. Complimentary tea coffee soft drinks and snacks are available all day and 1x alcohol beverage is available from 6.30 - 9.30 pm. The Club is spacious, modern, clean and relaxing, Breakfast was great and the staff were always topping up items that were low. The rooms were clean and functional and comfortable. Very modern bathroom with glass walls and doors. All in all a great stay. Would definitely stay again when in Lyon.

Loved my stay at this hotel. I was given a superior room on the top floor, with an amazing view on the Rhone river. The room itself is very modern, and very functional. I would only hope there was more closet space. Every evening, guests are offered local snacks, which include 1 glass of wine of choice, salad, local ham and cheese, .... A very nice touch! Breakfast in the morning was perfect, with many choices. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
