My friends and I chose this restaurant as our night off our riverboat to have diner. We were not disappointed. We met the owner while walking around looking for a restaurant and he promised us a good meal and we were not disappointed. The group wanted traditional food and we enjoyed it all from the escargot, the frog leg, the steak from the region...not sure of the name but so good. The owner had sent out some appetizers and that was such a nice way to start off the evening. After the meal we all had chapagne compliments of the owner and talked about his upcoming trip to New York. We hope he calls us when he is here so we can show him the same hospitality. He even introduced us to his beautiful daughter who will joining him on his trip. After a greet meal, great wine, great time we exchanged cards and said goodnight. I would highly recommend this restaurant and believe me when I say we know good food.

I came to visit this restaurant with my wife. The idea of traditional food attracted us. Effectively the menu is great. The entrees were great, as well as the cheese selection. The main courses were also good, but where the grading goes down is with the vegetables that accompanied food. They were the same for both dishes, even when they were a meat and a soup. Also, the small champignones were over-seasoned. We enjoyed the little place and atmosphere, as well as a very attentive service staff.

The food was good for the price (15 euro for a menu) but thats it. If you want real local food this is not the place to go. The staff was professionel and friendly but the place was very touristed.

I ate at this restaurant on a number of occasions and each time had a great meal.I chose from the Menu Lyonnais which was a fixed price of 15 euros. For that i had a marvellous 3 course meal.I did vary that on one occasion when i had a baked alaska for desert, served with a sparkler in the middle of it and then flamed with brandy.I had been looking forward to seeing the museums but came away from Lyon remembering this restaurant.
