I had a fantastic meal at Le Passage. Foie Gras was delicious, as was the Tournedo Steak. Service was professional, efficient and friendly, especially as the one waiter had to carry the dishes up a steep flight of stairs. This was a meal to remember and I will return as a couple.

This trip was a while ago and I can't say who with but the food a to la Passage was excellent. The service too was very good. Although expensive it was worth it. We will return to Lyon one day and will certainly go there for another meal

In a traditional atmosphere, but with friendly (not stuffy) service and a pleasantly interesting menu. Many places in central Lyon seem to have the same set of traditional dishes, but Le Passage was refreshingly original. I would absolutely go back.

The quintessential French fine dining experience. Situated down a side street in the heart of Lyon's stylish Presqu'Île, Le Passage is a hidden reward for those willing to scratch beneath the surface of the undeniably fine array of Lyonnais bouchons for something really special.

You'll be greeted by staff trained to offer a welcoming and efficient service, in what is unashamedly a very formal environment - but it doesn't feel at all stuffy. They're friendly, they'll talk you through the wine list to match your meal perfectly, but at the same time they aren't at all intrusive or overbearing.

You'll browse the superb menu with an apéritif, and wish you could have everything on it. Some might complain that restaurants like this don't have the biggest menus in the world, but for me you don't need all that much choice when everything on the menu is so appetising. I would seriously recommend the Noix de St Jacques, the best scallops I've ever eaten.

I was here for a special occasion, and you should come here expecting to pay around €100 a head - but it's worth every penny and more. The setting is so elegant it reminds me of somewhere Sherlock Holmes might have enjoyed eating in the late 1800s, with its dark wood and burgundy upholstery; the food is truly spectacular; the service is obliging and friendly. I simply cannot fault it. If you're looking for a truly unforgettable fine dining experience, this place stands out even amongst the stiff competition in this great city of gastronomy. We'll certainly be coming back soon.

Very well known restaurant in central Lyon with old-style atmosphere and vintage interiors. Service is excellent, professional and calm while food is good but...not really anything excellent. Prices are too high compared to what you get even if the experience was OK.
