Recently returned from our first Simon Butler skiing trip at the Chalet d'Antoine. It's as good as every one says it is, the staff were all great and the ski lessons improved my rusty technique about 1000%. I look forward to my next trip. When you consider the lessons, food, wine and the all important cake at tea time it's a great value trip.

I chose this hotel as it was no 1 on Trip Advisor and I was far from disappointed. The staff, the food, the homemade biscuits for afternoon tea, the massage and the skiing instructors were all top class! Considering what you get, it is extremely good value for your money (the rooms are basic but then you only use them to sleep anyway). We have now found the perfect spot in the alps and we are very much looking forward to returning next year.

Have just completed 2 weeks at the Chalet D'Antoine and it was just as amazing as ever, (I've been a few times before). The food is outstanding, the staff are friendly, helpful and couldn't be nicer. The ski tuition is out of this world.
The free wifi is great. OK, it's slow at times, but hey you're in the Alps!
I'll be back next year.

Room Tip: Relax, all the rooms we have stayed in are great. Shut the shutters at night to keep in the heat an...

So as I sit in a beautiful megeve cafe enjoying a coffee reflecting on a spectacular week what to say by way of review!!
This has been an outstanding week with Simon butler and his excellent and very accommodating team, from start to finish you are well looked after, Pete the manager at the chalet antione is a friendly and helpful chap, the food has been incredible and Toby the chef never fails to produce meals of the highest quality. We have been fortunate this week and have enjoyed wonderful snow. The highlight of the week has to have been the ski instruction which is high quality, small group, challenging yet manageable!! All instructors are experienced and know when to push and when to nurture and support!!!
The town of megeve is stunning which really makes for the best of experiences. Thank you, could not recommend this chalet and company enough.

A great stay only let down by lack of Internet, they advertise Internet in every room, but for what ever reason this is not the case. Apart from this gripe a very enjoyable stay with great food. Location of hotel is great as it is right in the middle of town.

Thanks for your comments Dominion5, apologies for any inconvenience caused during your stay I think we were a bit excited in announcing that we had wifi in the rooms on our twitter and Facebook pages. We refrained from advertising it on the website as the boosters have only just been installed and we are working on maximizing their coverage to provide free wifi for all our guests in their rooms.

So goes the Paul Simon lyric. It was 23 years since I last skiied so it was with trepidation that I booked at Chalet Antoine. What a pleasure. Lessons from Amy which brought it all back. Food from Toby to revive my tired bones. Fun and laughter from a lot of like-minded people who have been there many many times before. Impeccable service from the staff at all times. Super room with hot water and quiet constantly. One punter, Colin, insisted we celebrate Burns Night on the Friday complete with haggis stabbing, glee club contribution, neets and tatties, kilts etc. You don't get that with Cox and Kings. We didn't win the quiz evening but... hey, there's always next year.

Room Tip: Book early and talk to Sam Johnson in London. She was very helpful.
