We just stayed a night during a road trip. We had a rabbit in tow and were allowed to bring it to the room in a little carry on cage. Shortly after getting settled, a lovely young lady brought us two carrots for our rabbit!! Totally unexpected. The breakfast was not included in the nightly rate but was worth paying for. Everything you could possibly want was offered. Baden-Baden is a lovely town!

I spent the Bank Holiday weekend on a road trip to Germany, I decided to book the Dorint Maison in Baden Baden due to the close proximity to the Black Forest and the already existing good reviews. i thought that after all that driving this would be the perfect place on the Sunday night to unwind and it didnt disappoint. in terms of location, it really is faultless, you have the casino across the street and then the main town no more than 2-3 mins walk away. If driving you can get into the heart of the BF within 15 mins.
the hotel is extremely clean and the staff very friendly. there was a very relaxed feel about the hotel and it did seem very quiet during my stay. i spent Monday morning in the spa and literally had it all to myself for over an hour.
the rooms were very modern, light and airy and very clean. i also enjoyed the Whiskey bar very much.
we decided not to eat at the hotel and rather sample the local delights, if you are ever in Baden Baden and are looking for some good hospitality and great food then check out 'Le Bistro' in the main square. one of the best meals i have had in a long time. the prices were very reasonable too, especially when you see a picture on the wall of Bill Clinton eating there a couple of years ago :)

Had a great long weekend back at the Dorint, Baden-Baden in late March.

It was our second visit, and our first travelling with our 4month old daughter. We had to postpone our trip on the morning of the day of our intended arrival due to baby being unwell, but the hotel was very understanding and accommodated the last-minute change in plans. Great service!

The hotel is perfectly located, with easy underground parking. The staff were all helpful, interested and engaging with baby. The Spa is a real highlight and the three of us enjoyed splashing round (we were usually the only ones swimming, always nice and quiet).

We stayed in the Princess Suite, which was modern, very spacious with an amazing bathroom (whirlpool bath and sauna). The real bonus was the small but very well equipped kitchenette (fridge, hob, pans, utensils etc).

The Black Forest itself was magical - covered in snow, but with clear blue skies.

We'll definitely be back.

Room Tip: The Princess Suite is highly recommended.

I have just a few words, this hotel is modern and well equiped. It has a beautiful Spa and Pool. Apart from my favorite suite the Kaiser Suite (around 1500.-US$ per night) they have all kinds of rooms for smaller wallets. ON the top floor there was finished in 2012 a new penthouse suite, which makes anyone who stays there feel like the most wanted person in Baden-Baden. You have to find out . The staff is gentle and quick. The German standards gurantee each detail you need will be served as soon as possible and in perfect state. Unforgetable and in the centre of the city's most wanted places you should visit, when you are there.

Room Tip: Ask for the penthouse or Kaisersuite!

We were staying in a room in the old wing but there was a/c in our room. The room was nice & spacious and we were lucky to have a view of our balcony looking at the Altes Schloss (the castle ruin on the mountain). The staff are all very polite and professional, even the one who cleaned up rooms was very nice, we happened to bump into her when we went back to our room and she was very nice and polite. The pool in the basement was nice, and the wellness area is spacious with 2 sauna, 1 steam room and a foot bath area. I would recommend to go for a Sunday brunch (huge buffet) next door at Kurshaus which is only Euro$25.5/person whereas breakfast in the hotel is Euro$24/person anyways. We drove to the hotel, but since everything is walking distance in the town, we just parked the car in the hotel parking lot (Euro$20/day) for the whole time. This is such a beautiful town and a very nice 5 star hotel (although the hotel lobby is relatively small and humble), I would consider returning when I visit this town again.

We stayed here and used the conference rooms for business training. It has excellent old world charm, but great remodeled accomadations. The views from the balcony in my room were outstanding. You could tell they had a quite well to do clientelle, with the women in gowns and furs. and most of the men in suits. It's in an excellent location for shopping on the mall. The confernce rooms were excellent and the bar in the evening was popular with live music some nights and the best hot chocolate!. There was a spa in the basement which I didn't use but would have loved to have had the time! The staff was exemplary and made great recommendations and even made our reservations for us.

Room Tip: Make sure to get a higher room with a balcony for the best views of the surrounding mountainside. Th...

Excellent location and an amazing city and the hotel is very good but make sure you request a room in the new wing as the old building wing don't have A/c vents which was fine for our time as the weather was cold but next time I'll make sure to request a room in the new wing.
