Overall the place is in right balance of what we value vs. what they ask as price. But in particular September of 2018 you would face active repairing and would be forced to compromise what you value .
Still you meet clean and well equipped rooms with friendly stuff and well renovated lobby & canteen zone. Not bad. For 1-3 nights at least.

We had a one night stay here and had a very comfortable stay. We arrived by car and with the work that is being carried out on the exterior of the hotel it initially appeared as if the car park underneath the hotel was out of action. There was scaffolding everywhere. But having gone around the block one time and approached the hotel from a different direction we could see the way in and we got a parking space, although there arn 't too many spaces to be had. But to upstairs to the reception and you find a very clean and modern hotel. They have a bar to the side of the reception, which is nice to have, it was a bit under used, a bit lacking in atmosphere, but the bottled beer was nice and reasonably priced. The room as with the rest of the hotel was in good condition, the bathroom was well appointed. We had a comfortable bed and it was quiet so we had a decent nights sleep. The breakfast was fine, fairly basic where drinks were from machines and options were limited and was catered for large numbers of people passing through. But as I say it was perfectly acceptable. The hotel itself is situated on a reasonably busy road that passes through the town and it is a flat pavemented walk into the centre of the town which takes 15-20 mins. But it is not far/long from the hotel before you start passing through nicely kept gardens.The hotel provides a good cost effective option for staying in Baden Baden and I would definitely stay here again. Staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel appears to have had a nice refurbishment.
