We stayed here for one night in early October. I am so glad we pre-booked as due to many road works, heavy traffic and rain it took nine and a half hours to get there and we did not arrive until 10.45pm. The charming staff made us welcome and provided a hot drink. Parking was right outside and there is a lift, but not to all floors. It is situated in a residential area about 6 kilometres from Baden-Baden and our small balcony looked out onto the vineyard and neighbouring houses. All the rooms have a wine theme. Ours was comfortable and well appointed with deep pile carpet. The ensuite contained a shower and many extras including body lotion and, surprisingly, dental floss. We had breakfast in the restaurant which was comfortable and the dining menu looked good, a pity we could not stay to sample it. A full continental breakfast was included, and cooked food also available. We would have no hesitation in returning.
