Lived here over a year, will not miss the town. Love the Wildpark, though. It is really pretty, lots of animals, and it is free. It was fun to feed some of them even as a grown Man. I don't know how Milind M. can call the place a disaster, it's a free zoo! That review makes no sense, so please disregard it.

Great place to have fun with the family without spending a lot of money. Lots of animals you can hand feed, four play areas, and a biergarten to get snacks and beverages. Only cost is parking - 5€ on weekend, 2 or 3€ during week. Food boxes are 1€ each and actually have a lot of food in them. Even all the adults in our group enjoyed feeding the animals. There are not many hand washing stations so bring wet wipes and hand sanitizer. Also have picnic areas if you want to bring your own snacks.

Good Points:

Its is free entry for everyone,
Open daily
Nicely made for the animals to stay in their natural habitat
Access to touch or feed animals is fun for kids and adults both

Bad Points:

The variety of animals is extremely poor. you will see mostly sheeps/goats/pigs/deers/Chicken etc only which are not wild animals in any way
Most of the Wild Animals found in jungles are missing (Dont Know why they call it a wildpark)
Directions as to where which animals are kept is missing, you tend to get lost as hardly any signboards available

A Disappointment!!!!!!!

First off, Pforzheim Wildpark is free to all guests! It makes for a nice afternoon outside with the kids and you don't have to spend a lot of money. Parking is 5 euro and you can purchase food to feed the animals which costs 1 euro per box. There is a lot to see and do there from watching the feeding of the Lynx (large wild cat), to feeding ox, sheep, deer, etc, looking at moose and other wild animals, and to petting numerous animals in the petting zoo area. Also worth mentioning is the playgrounds they have for the kids, I think I counted 3 separate ones. They also have an otter show where they feed the otters in the large outside pond/aquarium. My kids had a great time there and including brats on the grill with pommes, I think we spent under 30 euro for a family of four to eat, feed animals, and park! The Wildpark makes for a nice afternoon with the family!
