“this is Customer intimacy at it's best”

very tiny restaurant in terms of size, mut very mighty when it comes to what they offer. Schnitzel is not the only thing they do, but everything is good.

“Loved It!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 December 2013

If in Heidelberg this is the place to eat. Be warned however, its tiny. I mean tiny. Imagine 40-50 people in a room suitable for 20. There's no way they would be allowed to cram half as many people in this place if it was in the U.S.

Go for the basic German food and try the Haxe (knuckle).

“Great schnitzel!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 December 2013

Highly recommend this place. We went on Thanksgiving & lucked into turkey schnitzel! Also enjoyed the mushroom and the Gorgonzola schnitzels. Cozy atmosphere in an old wine cooperage -- tools repurposed for decorations.

“Amazing Schnitzel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 November 2013

The ambiance of the place is very original and so is the taste of schnitzel. The potato was also very well cooked and tasted very good. Not soo expensive restaurant.

“Great interior but not matched by the food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 November 2013

Such a good feel to the interior, and very good ambiance as it is so busy, but the food didn't quite match up to it. Had an awesome goulash soup, but the pork knuckle was way overcooked, I could only get through half of it. Maybe the other food is better, just steer clear of the knuckle.
