Included with your castle ticket, an interesting look into the history of apothecary in the region where arguably modern pharmacology was invented.

The apothecary museum is located within the Heidelberg Castle. Several rooms showing apothecaries at different eras. Interesting to see but definitely interesting if you are in the medical field.

We visited this fascinating place with my mom who is a Homeopath. Wow ! We were not disappointed !
So many interesting artefacts that take you back to when things were seen differently.

Take the tour. It's short but interesting.

We went in, we looked around, lots of little bottles labled in German. It was interesting but not really our thing. If you are at the castle you might as well give it a look. There was a cute little gift shop.
