The hotel was exactly what i needed. The reception was friendly and helpful a lot since they checked me earlier. The hotel though it seems to be far it isn't, i walked al the way back to the train station, weather was also wonderful but i would have done it during winter also ;)

Great hotel for the biz trip, just a little bit to far away from Heidelberg City centre, but by taxi max 10min. Good hotel service, good breakfests and hole bar. Good connection with the highway to Frankfurt. Big parking place.

Not a bad hotel, rooms are small as is the shower. I can barely fit into the shower. However the place is clean, the staff friendly, breakfast is great. The downside is that it is a bit out of town, so you have to get a bus to get to the old town 2.6 euro for 2 people, taxi back is about 13 euro and the place lacks those little bathroom items that we are so used to. Fridge did not work. The bus stop is a short walk from the hotel and is not the easiest place to get to. There is a gas station next door that has a small shop so you can get a limited amount of stuff from there if required. Whilst we are not 100% sure we think that we picked up bed bugs from this hotel

Hotel is on very good place, in the city center. Rooms are very nice, but we didn't take breakfast as this one was not very cheap. Breakfast cost almost 1/3 of the room price so we just decided to go somewhere else.
Wi Fi internet - I don't know if signal is good or not as we didn't use it. This is not free of charge and costs 7 eur/day. I think hotels that doesn't have free Wi Fi are not very attractive. Looking everything from the room I would like to stay again, but if I need to reserve hotel in Heidelberg one more time than that is not going to be Leonardo for sure as there is no free connection to the internet.

Room Tip: Not possible to tell as you cannot open the window to look outside, the windows are locked. You can...

This is now a Leonardo Hotel. We enjoyed our stay here, the rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. Breakfast was nice, with a great selection. The only downside is the location is some distance to local attractions. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this hotel.

I stayed with my group for 5 nights in that hotel, The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable.
The breakfast is good with many choices. The creww was polite and helpfull.
The location is far from the center and you need bus or taxi to get there.
A small shop in the gas station at the entrance of the hotel provide some basic things, Not far is the neighbourhoods supermarket, Also close is a good Macedonian restaurant with international menu.
There is maintanence problem. We stayed at the hotest days in the hotel and the aircondition didn't worked for 3 days at half of the rooms.

Room Tip: Rooms started with 300 has no elevator.

We went to this hotel on July 30, 2013 with my wife. They apparently will be a Leonardo hotel as they are taking over Holiday Inn. There is no free Wi-Fi, but they will offer that service in September according to a note my wife and I read. I didn't want to shell out 10 euro with no real guarantee that it will even work well. I didn't like the location all that much. My wife and I took the bus 33 and had to walk 10 minutes from the hotel. It took 4.60 euro round trip for one person on the bus. We walked around Heidelberg for a bit and were able to catch an 11 o'clock bus to get back. The service was okay. The young males were a bit unsure of a few things, but someone eventually knew the answer. My wife enjoyed the breakfast particularly the eggs. Please keep in mind they we were traveling with Globus, so this wouldn't have been our number 1 choice. However; Globus picks out the hotels and we have no say. BOTTOM LINE: This place is just basic. Nothing special, but a place to sleep and maybe even eat in.
