Superb little hotel no so far from city center (10min by tram) the rooms are decorated with taste and style and the staff is friendly and the bed is very comfy. Only stayed for 1 night but would love to come back!

I just spent five days at this Hotel. I travel quite often in Germany on business and found this hotel to a level above most local hotels where I stay. Even though I had a single room, the bed was much larger than a standard german single bed and was quite comfortable. Although the bathroom was a bit small, the shower was larger than most german hotel showers.

The hotel is located on the main street in this district. However, unless the window was open, I did not hear much auto traffic or the strassenbahn. The street car stop is only 150 meters from the front door. Downtown Heidelberg (Bismark Platz) is only a five minute ride. The old city is just across the street from the market.

Breakfast is not included in the room price, but is quite good and reasonable at 8 Euro. There is not a dedicated parking area for the Hotel. Rather, one must park on the street. I did not find this to be a problem. I was always able to locate a parking place within a short walk.

I would highly recommend the hotel for either business or pleasure. It will suit either purpose well.

Room Tip: There are no rooms on the ground floor and there is no elevator. If going up and down stairs is a problem, request a room one level up from the ground floor.

Nice staff, great beds, comfortable room! At the time of the visit there were some works done, so it was a bit chaotic, but definitely a good choice! The building is really nice and renewed. Great balcony and quite room. Maybe a bit expensive and out of city center.

Hotel with simple rooms in a quiet side of city. Very clean and safe!
Local train station in front of hotel . There are some restaurants in the neighborhood with different food options.

Good restaurant for lunch and a really nice breakfast !

This is a nice hotel, complete with everything you would need for a short stay in Heidelberg. I didn't get a chance to try the restaurant because there are so many other places to eat nearby and the centre of town is a short tram ride away. The staff were friendly, although there was never anybody on reception and so after the restaurant shut for the night there were few ways to contact the staff. There was no lift that I found and I had to carry my case up and down 2 flights of a spiral staircase, so be warned and pack light if you intend on staying here. The only other downside was that the wifi quality was rather poor. I could just about check my emails, but nothing more than that.
