“A good place to rest.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 August 2014

Booked this last minute, and was impressed by service given.
Even though Bar was closed, Receptionist sold us a couple of bottles of beer.
Room was a decent size, and set up as a long stay let, so had a few kitchen appliances, and more importantly a fan, to keep cool.
Beds comfortable enough, with not much traffic noise from outside.
Breakfast choices was probably the best I had in our recent trip around Europe.
Even though part of a chain, will certainly be looking at these the next time I am in Germany!
Danke Schon!

Located in a residential area so parking was an issue, pretty basic to be honest, contractors use it, no kettle in the room but a 2 ring hob,, but no pans to boiler water in, there was a fridge freezer ?? £37 for one night,, you get what you pay for to be honest

Room Tip: room was very basic and suits the £37 I paid, I think they are all the same, contractors hotel or an...

Booked to stay here for 3 nights last weekend whilst visiting friends and taking in the Christmas markets and spectacular views from the Black Mountains.

This hotel is really nice, It was the cheapest per night nearest to Karlsruhe which did leave me wondering what I was coming to, but I was pleasantly surprised!

Parking is located at the front of the hotel which is free of charge, if this is full then there is an underground car park beneath the hotel which you access from the side for 2 euros per 24 hours.

Check in assistant was friendly and spoke very good English, I arrived at 11pm after flying into Frankfurt earlier that evening, reception is 24 hours.

Was given a room on the top floor overlooking the back of the hotel (tiny bit of road noise during the night but nothing to cause any sleep problems) The room was a good size with a desk, TV was pretty basic, only 1 English channel. Next to the bathroom there is a cooker, sink and fridge. The fridge came in handy as there is a small supermarket next door where you can stock up on water etc.

Bathroom was a good size, no bath but a big shower deep shower tray to step into.

Had such a good experience at this hotel I've already booked to stay here for the German Grand Prix in 2014!

Modern Hotel in residential area. Free parking also secure garage parking available at a price. Check in very good. Rooms modern and larger than one tends to get these days, wi-fi available sometimes available free with a business package. Breakfast very good with plenty of choice. Only downside is distance from motorway.

Room Tip: Need a satnav to find it.

We had a one night stop at the hotel on our way through Germany. We arrived very late but had no problems checking in and the adjacent restaurant was still open (it stays open until midnight). The service at reception was very friendly. We chose to park our car in the secure garage for €2.50 although there is some free parking at ground level.

The room was a good size and comfortable, with a good bed. Unfortunately it did smell of stale cigarette smoke despite being a non-smoking room. other than that it was fine and they provided free bottled drinking water.

There was a small kitchenette in the room but no pans/plates/cutlery etc. so wasn't really sure why it was there!

Overall a good stop and would recommend for a brief stay.

Use your satnav and when you see the sign for the hotel, Turn right into An der Vogelhardt and just as the road bends round to the left turn off right into the back entrance of the hotel grounds. Parking is all down the right side and following round to the front of the hotel.Get there early to get a place or pay to park in the garage. (Nominal fee) Wifi is €2.00/24h and good signal,

A great little hotel with everything you'd need for a short stay. Rooms are bigger than expected with a small shower/toilet room, and something I didn't even spot are I walked into the room was a fridge.hotplate setup. (I even put my car keys on it so it shows how tired I was.)

We ate in the brilliant Asian restaurant attached to the hotel great food and great value. We had breakfast in the breakfast room next morning and there was a fine selection of hot and cold items. I'm not a big drinker of the stuff, bit the coffee was wonderful.

There is a small supermarket just next door so you could stock up on supplies there if you wanted.

Easy location for getting back on the roads North next day, thus avoiding the current mess that Karlsruhe centre is while they do the road works.

Recommend to anyone, great find, is one my list as a future stopover.

Large and clean rooms, quiet location near citycenter (4 kms), fridge OK but no AC, fans were on their way and for the use on next day. Free Wi-Fi and parking outside. Garage 2,50 euros/night. Good value for your money.
