The apartments are marketed as "home away from home".
The layout is fine, furnishings are old and could/should be replaced but still acceptable.
What is not acceptable is that clearly no cleaning is done.

I have been in the apartment for 2 weeks and twice a week 3 women come to change towels and empty bins, once a week they change the bedding. The floor was not hovered well (old greyish carpet), the bathtub not cleaned, never to mention washing floors or walls. The bathroom walls, fully tiled are so grimy and dirty it makes you sick.

The "fully stocked kitchen" is empty. Cupboards also partially damaged. You can go and collect plates, pans, cups etc. from the main kitchen downstairs. This itself seems slightly chaotic, the stuff to collect is kept in wall cupboards, mix and match, mostly not cleaned well. I have never had such a low standard even during student times when renting the first flat and buying kitchen equipment from charity shops.

This is a disgrace and I wonder how this place can still count on such big corporate cooperations. My partner started in a big company here and their HR dept put us here until we find a flat. I am sincerely delighted that we won't be here for months. Although I heard we can count ourselves lucky as at least the hob is working. Other colleagues weren't so fortunate and their kitchen isn't working.

The front desk staff is friendly. Still, they don't clean either.
The facility does not offer pool or fitness.
Breakfast is offered on surcharge. Didn't try it.

Room Tip: We were in the highest room category "deluxe" (?) with 2 rooms. Still they were manky!

I have been to this hotel many times. The best thing about this hotel is that this is between a guest house and commercial hotel. The people like me who does not want to stay in very commercial and sophistication environment but rather in guest house sort of arrangment, this hotel could be a good one. Most of the rooms has a small kitchen inside and you can borrow utensils free of charge from reception. So for longer stay 3-4 weeks, i do not mind cooking dinner myself. The breakfast is quite ok, but you have to tell them while booking that you want to include breakfast in your booking, its not complimentary. The complete hotel is spread in 3 buildings, the rooms in the building hosting reception is best rooms, they have little more facilities than rooms in other building. In general rooms are spacious than normal commercial hotels in the same range.

But if one intend to stay for small duration and does not want to cook, then there is a problem for dinner, as they do not have restaurant and only near by is a pizzeria and one turkey fast food shop. There is three tram stations near by, you can get 4 and 7 number tram towards city .

This hotel is best for the people who visits Mannheim for short term (3-6 weeks) assignment work in ABB or Alstom.

The receptionist was talking for quite a while and made me pay in advance during the check-in
All the windows in the room were opened and the heater was set to a minimum.. (temperature outside (and therefore inside was around the zero degrees)
The mattrass was too soft for my taste
The bathroom had no window
In the surrounding you had no places to have some dinner - the only place was a takeaway pizzeria

I would not reccommend this site - I arrived to this hotel cause most of the hotels were fully booked,.. now I understand why this was not

I was lucky to arrive by 10:00 p.m. on the very first day because the reception was about to close and then I'd be out all night!!! and I was not aware of that.
There's no restaurant and nothing around: no restaurant, no pubs, only the tram #4 stop 200 m away prevents me from giving a '1'.
Rooms are very spacious, even too much, and offer a small kitchen to cook your food. Good if you plan to stay for long time but in this case the price would be really too high.
The breakfast is very limited, with average quality and costed me 11€ which I judge too much for what is offered.
The only positive thing is that they give free internet access to the guest, though the data speed is very very low.

Stayed here 9 nights for business. Room was very big and there was no noise during night. Otherwise than that there was no good sides. Location is very bad. There is Lidl and one pizzeria one block away but otherwise need to take tram to centrum (15-20mins) to get food.

There was kitchen also but nothing to cook with, maybe they would have cost some extra. Downstairs there was washers and dryers which was nice.

I think most of people were staying there for long-term. There was a lot of families who looked like they've stayed there for months.

To me this place reminded me more of my study apartment than a hotel (which this is not)
