“cannstatter spring festival”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 May 2013

Not as big and vibrant as the wasen in october this spring version is more family orientated with the emphasis on fair ground etc , than on beer tents and entertainment, but still an enjoyable experience

“Oktoberfest in Germany”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 April 2013

This is the second largest Oktoberfest event in Germany (behind Munich). If you plan on going and visiting a beer tent, make reservations in advance! As with most "fests" in Germany, reservations get you a seat at a table and the option of food. The tents here are really more like permanent beer halls with tons of people, bands, and enough liters of beers for a small country. The "beer tents" are located in what most Americans would consider a county fair environment. If you have never done Oktoberfest before, this is a good place to go for the experience. Otherwise, I think the thousands of other smaller festivals throughout Germany are much better.

“Good fun for all ages”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 April 2013 via mobile

Good friendly vibe, no need to book tables unlike other Bierfests. Been to the October one once and the spring one twice.

“Fest!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 March 2013

If in town late April/Early May or late Sept/Early oct, make sure you hit up the fest grounds. It is like an American state fair, with lots of beer.
