“very nice complex for sauna fans”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 August 2013

This is compact but nice complex in Stuttgart. Good choice of different saunas, steam rooms, pools and relaxing areas. We were there at Sunday evening and it was not crowed. You must go there nude. Its good idea to get with you bathrobe or you can rent it for 5 euro there. I think it's not new, but they keep everything in good conditions and it was clean. The only one disappointment were that not all saunas working. The best sauna is Canadian (very hot, specially if you sit near the stones, I like so much Aufguss with music) near salt water outside pool. Probably if it will be crowed it will not so fun to go.

“Great excursion”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 August 2013

We come here every so often, about four times so far, and stay for about six hours. You can't bring any gadgets in with you, so it's a great way to force yourself to unplug and unwind. Coming early, preferably on a weekday, is a smart move--the fees are cheaper then, especially during the summer. We don't mind coming here during the summer, since the day feels that much cooler after spending time in the sauna. You can bring your own drinks, and we take about 3L each. Just leave the bag (no valuables, of course) with the rehydration beverage of your choice in one of the cubby holes right inside after you pass through the locker room and you can easily rehydrate. There is also a "mandala bar" where you can buy drinks, food, and snacks. We go from aufguss to aufguss, which occurs every 30min here, pretty much the whole time, and cooling off between each aufguss in the indoor/outdoor whirlpools. It's the only place we know of that has an an aufguss every 30min (other places have them every 1hr), and we feel that's the best way to get our money's worth, so to speak. Some split their time sunbathing/reading-by-the-pool with the aufguss or sauna, and there are plenty of places to sit for that, too. Each aufguss lasts about 8 minutes, and ends with either orange wedges, effervescent candy, a gatorade-like mineral drink, or popsicles. If you've never been to an aufguss, it is something to experience. Like other reviewers have noted, there is a wide range of saunas to try out with varied decor/themes and temperatures--we still haven't tried them all. We don't recommend the Tirolean style one, although it has an interesting, albeit unsafe, interior decorated with metal antlers (with lots of warning signs about burns), because of the hokey music inside--go to the Tibetan style one instead. Our favorite non-aufguss one is the salt grotto, which is currently tucked away in one of the sub-level corners and may be a bit hard to find. It has little containers of salt outside and you can exfoliate yourself quite well now that you've been to a couple aufguss/sauna sessions. More advice on what to bring: flip-flops, big towels (to sit on while in the sauna and/or put around you as you move around between saunas), bath robes (to wear in the restaurant area and/or to start wearing instead of the towel, as it becomes heavier and heavier with all the water), sunscreen (if you want to lounge on the "kanto beach" etc.), moisturizer (your skin will need it after a day at the sauna when you wrap things up). If it's your first time in a nude spa, we can tell you that in a sauna (especially aufguss), no one's going to stare (unless you stare first) since everyone's too busy enduring the heat. We haven't personally encountered any pervs here.

“Thematic serenity in stuttgart”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 May 2013 via mobile

This textile free (nude) spa is a gem in Stuttgart. It has a wide range of spas, saunas and steam rooms that are categorized by Greek, Asian, middle eastern, roman and Swiss themes. It's a cool place that has a warm rainforest atmosphere. This place is designed for Germans escaping reality and basking serenity. As an American it can be slightly nerve wracking, simply because most of the signs and information are in German. However, the staff is very courteous and all that I encountered were very eager to help and translate for me. My favorite area (there are about 16) was the Swiss steam room because you rub salt on your body and then after you steam away rinse in cool water and feel utterly detoxed, purified and scrubbed. Also, the Balinese meditation sauna room was blissful in it cute hut like architecture and yoga, zen music in the background. There is also a plentiful bar and food area. This place is designed to make your spa experience a most restful and peaceful adventure, try it out! No one will stare at your body, but if you are worried they have a ladies day on certain days.

“One of the reasons to comeback to Stuttgart”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 April 2013

My favorite SPA experience so far. Simply nude wonderland with fabulous choice of different baths, saunas, steam rooms, pools and relaxing areas.
Clean and relaxing atmosphere.
Must experience the sauna near the seawater pool (forgot the name), infused with fragrances. Felt like newborn after trying this and jumping in to the snow just behind the sauna on open air (yes, there was enough snow at the end of March!).
Fantastic refreshment!
Better going on weekdays, otherwise is too busy.

“Heaven on earth.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 January 2013

Everyone should go!
It's such a gorgeous place and provides every kinda of sauna and relax area (divided by nationality)...
So on a daily basis for example you can take a walk inside, look around and realize how beautiful it looks, then do a finnish sauna, then a bubble hot bath and why not you can go relax in the thai lounge.
Then you can start over again with but different saunas and relax areas...
it's heaven, really.

Can't wait to go back, I spent a fabulous anniversary day, then slept at the Suite Hotel.
