“Amazing room, wonderful staff.”
Reviewed 19 March 2014

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend break: We've been to Stuttgart a few times before, but this was our first stay at the Arcotel Camino, and it will certainly not be our last. On arrival the staff behind the reception desk were extremely welcoming and could not have been more helpful. Our room was on the top floor, and was very well appointed, large, comfortable and clean. Breakfast at this hotel is amazing and sets you up for the whole day. Also, fresh fruit is available in your room and at reception along with mini Schokoküsse.
All in all we loved this hotel and can't wait for our next trip to Stuttgart to go back!

This hotel was very nice, close to the main train station. The decor was very nice and the room was spotless. Overall, I really enjoyed my night there. The only issue I had was with the Relaxation Area and Saunas. During my stay, there was a large group of young men, who behaved very inappropriately towards myself (a lone female) and another woman with her daughter. They were shouting and yelling and throwing things at each other, and also began catcalling when they seen women approach.

This was on a Saturday night at about 7pm. I do not know if they were guests at the hotel or locals who use the facilities, but be cautious using the facilities if you a female on your own. The hotel should really monitor the behaviour of guests using the facilities to make sure that it is a relaxing and safe environment for everyone.

Other than that, great place to stay.

Dear Guest,

Thank you very much for your feedback. It’s nice to see, that you enjoyed your stay at ARCOTEL Camino. We like to inform you that only our hotel guests use our spa area, that’s why you only can enter it with your keycard. We feel sorry about such a discomfort. If you had informed our receptionists about that, we would have found a solution for that. We hope you will visit us again and wish you a pleasant time until then. Kind regards, Melanie Ringwelski, Guest Relation.

Very good location, close to train station. Easy walking distance. Friendly staff and clean room. Breakfast was great! We had dinner there as well and prices were reasonable and food was excellent. We will definitely stay there again!

A rare 'Excellent' award from me for this hotel, about 400m away from the Hauptbahnhof. Newly converted from what looks like a school or office building, this is a very comfortable hotel (part of an Austrian chain) that offers the full range of facilities at really great prices. They were kind enough to offer room service even though it was just before they closed the kitchen (at 2200) so I had a good Tafelspitz for dinner. Breakfast was a little congested, the restaurant area is not huge. The only hiccup was the usual one of logging into the wifi, where my name had been put in their system backwards so I couldn't get going without checking with reception.

The rooms here are very spacious with vaulted ceilings and quite modern in design. They are comfortable without being exceptional. The staff however were all very helpful and cheerful. I recommend booking ahead as the hotels appears to be popular.

We booked the 2 bedroom apartment and were surprised by the size. It was a very spacious apartment with the 2 bedrooms having their own en-suite bathrooms. The living room featured a Sofabed on top plus a small kitchen with fridge and complementary Nespresso Coffee. Internet is free for a slowish bandwidth but it's enough for doing your e-mail. If need you can buy an upgrade to faster speeds. Parking seems to be big business in Germany. Although slightly cheaper than Munich it still cost 16 Euros for the car to park overnight - I guess they treat it like an extra bed!
