Friendly, welcomming owners plus a location just off the main square makes this a great choice if you're spending a few days in Ulm. Everything is within easy walking distance, with lots of little cafes and restaurants. Breakfast buffet was huge, with fantastic choice of juices, meats, yogurts, etc and fresh basket of breads. We were only there for a long weekend and so just didn't have time to try the restaurant, but their menu looked very good, with a focus on fresh fish and seafood.
We had a room up on the top floor of an annex that is just being rennovated and it was quiet and peaceful. Beds were continential style (which some people describe as two singles shoved together, but that's just how they do it in Europe and I prefer it that way!), firm and comfortable. All the linens, towels and curtains looked brand new. A complimentary bottle of sparkling water and proper wine glasses was also very welcome.More
