Despite our non-existent German, and the wait-staff's non-existent English, they managed to find a table for this family of four who stumbled in just as they opened for the evening.
We came here based on the Fodor's Guide recommendation. Saw the comments here that it was for tourists. They could be right as we were tourists and loved it. My husband and I got the meal for two (sorry, don't recall the exact name). It was incredible. Our son had sauerbraten and thought it was great.
Lovely setting, courteous and efficient service, good German food -- what more could you want?
