Short family holliday

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 13 Aug 2016
The hotel had good rooms, which were large. Staff were friendly and offered to babysit, breakfast was good, typical continental. Only set back was they did not have a restaurant on site, there was a partner restaurant round the corner.

The staff at this hotel are amazingly friendly and helpful with suggestions of things to do around town. The breakfast is also very good. Room was very clean and tidy. Only downside was that the bed was a bit uncomfortable. Overall a great experience.

We are very happy with the room, the service (very friendly) and the breakfast. Just stayed in the hotel for the weekend (one night), our room was very quiet, the bed was very comfortable. The design of the room is very simple but nice. The room is spacious and we had a nice balcony.

Room tip: Wir haben das Zimmer am Gang. Trozdem ist es ruhig.

Stayed here for a weekend trip to Garmish. Got in late and they were nice enough to leave a note on the door for me telling me what to do. Breakfast was fantastic and in typical European fashion. The beds were clean and the room was nice. Had a little balcony as well. They have drinks at night if you want them for reasonable prices and have food delivery options as well. I would stay here again in a heartbeat for the decent prices. Plenty of parking available on the road since it's a small hotel.

Aww I'm loving this hotel. It's very cute...exactly how you imagine a Bavarian mountain hotel should be. A warm hospitable welcome by a really attentive receptionist. I came back from skiing today and enjoyed the home made Christmas biscuits at the counter. The receptionist helped me with my suitcase to the room. I got to use the lovely spa at its sister hotel for free. They gave me a bathrobe to take with. And the spa was such a treat after a day of skiing. I came back and used the 'winter garden' (the lounge) and enjoyed a glass of red wine. Everything is organic here including the shower gel (with aloe vera...hmm... :) ) and their breakfast food is all organic, too. I haven't even tried it yet but I can't wait. The WiFi is working great, too! Really wish I was staying for longer!

I like this hotel because it was very traditional and quaint with a good breakfast and good location and great price to stay.
Bathrooms could stand some remodeling and beds are definitely not made for tall people. Fortunately we were only here for one night or it would have not been comfortable enough to get good sleep for a longer time.
