My husband and me stayed at the motel one on a business travel ,attending the INTERSOLAR Fair .
UP :1) Though the hotel was fully booked , our room was quiet .
2 ) 6 minutes walk to Donersbergerbrucke train station , 10 minutes with buggage.
3 ) fair choice of restaurants with Bavarian food and atmosphere , prices 25 euros for two persons.
4 ) room and bathroom clean , spacious enough .
5) free internet at the lobby
6 ) luggage storage for as many hours we needed.
7 ) behind the hotel a very calm and easy neighbourhood.
8) only four stops from Marienplatz ( center )
DOWN : crowded and noisy lobby
Don't expect luxury , it's not a vacation hotel ( perhaps only for students ).

This hotel is very modern, clean and fresh looking. The bathroom was brand new and the shower head was as big as a ping pong bat! The shower head also had various settings, so you could stand under the shower and let the dozens of jet streams massage your neck and shoulders. This is perfect after a long day of sight seeing in Munich!

As with many hotels, the beds were two single ones pushed together which is annoying when you're having an "intimate" moment with your partner and you suddenly disappear down the gap in the middle. Never fear though, there was a big chair in the corner which can be used instead!

Don't bother paying for the breakfast as it costs 8 euros each. Go to the bakers down the road instead. There are a couple of local restaurants and a supermarket nearby if you get the munchies.

The room was a little crampt. However, I'm sure most people could put up with this for a long weekend.

The motel is very new, so everything is clean and working very well. The staff is friendly and professional. There is no telephone in the room, but most of us carry a mobile phone nowadays. The room has a TV with mostly local channels, BBC, TV5, Skynews, CNBC, and two other European ones, I think it's spanish and italian. My main grouch is that the free wireless internet access is available only at the lobby/cafe area, one has to pay for this service in the rooms. Breakfast is available at 7.50 euro.
Transport to and from the airport is very convenient because it is 10 minutes casual walk from the Donnersbergerbrucke station - the S-bahn S1 or S8 is the link to the airport. There is a tram stop just off the front of the motel, line 18 and line 19 takes one to the city centre.
Various convenient shops are near it, there is a supermarket behind the motel, the Augustiner Brewery with a adjoin dining room is about 5 minutes brisk walk away. Nearby are also a couple of some donner shops and other smaller eating places.

New hotel opened summer 2008. Good location not far from the main railway station and the Oktoberfest site. Rooms are small with few facilities and not much storage space but bathrooms are good. Small breakfast area if you choose to pay extra to have the breakfast. No other facilities to speak of. If you want somewhere clean and convenient to spend a couple of nights its fine but look elsewhere if you're staying longer or like a bit more luxury.

The hotel is just newly built and therefore the rooms are very clean and nice. The rooms are not too big, but well equipped. The staff is very nice and helpfull. It is well located just beside the station Donnersbergerbrücke and only frew minutes away from the Augustiner brewery. You have also free WLAN in the lobby (just ask the receptionist for the code).

Its new hotel at very convenient location, you can get tram from the front of hotel to city centre which seven stations ahead about 15 mins ride, clean and neat, but staff is not friendly, no phone in the room, small place for breakfast.
