I had a very good experience with this hotel and recommend it, i stayed there for 2 nights and could sleep very well. The staff was nice, the room was big and it stays close to main station. Very good price for a couple.

Room Tip: Just improve the electrical system because when we take off the key it just put everything in darkne...

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of May. It's located close to the main train station in Munich which is the main reason we booked this hotel (5 minute walk). It's then a 15 minute walk from hotel into the very centre of Munich (around Marienplatz).

The general area isn't the best so we stuck to the main road (Bayerstrasse) going past the train station when walking to/from the centre.

Bathroom was clean but the shower wasn't very powerful and the design of the bathroom was poor which meant the floor got very wet. The room itself was small and dark, with only one light working (and a lamp with a red light bulb??). It was clean, but very basic. Although it's a budget friendly hotel, the room we had was not like those shown on their website - it was a much lower standard. 2 nights was more than enough due to the small, confined dark room. Our room was on the 2nd floor, facing out over the main street. With the windows shut it was pretty quiet but there is no air con in the room which meant it got a bit stuffy - once windows are open it was very noisy.

We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food. The staff spoke good English. There is also free Wi-Fi which worked fine and had no problems connecting to (you get the code when you check in).

Overall, it did a job as a low cost hotel near the central train station and within walking distance of city centre. However, it's probably worth looking around to see if anything else falls within your budget before booking this place.

Room Tip: We had a room on the 2nd floor, facing out over the main street. It was fairly quiet with the window...

The hotel is situated 10 minutes of walking from the central railway station and about 15 minutes of walking from the old town, so the location is great.

The room was quite small, the TV was up on the wall at a strange angle making it impossible to watch it while lying down in bed. The bathroom was neat and small, but it got flooded after every shower. We could easily hear the noise from the room closest to us and from the hallway.

All in all, it was ok for the price, the location making it worth it.

I was shocked by the smallness of the room. We can hardly move. The room was dark, wish it was brighter. The ventilation was poor, we were told to open the window to let in some fresh air. The toilet and bathroom was sparkling clean with good water pressure. Regretted booking this place. Thankfully we had only 1 night.

There is nothing really to be noteworthy of the hotel. Rooms are quite small yet they are just fine. I wouldn't recomend it for a romantic or relax vacation. Be aware that rooms do not have (at least ours) mini-bar or safe box (available at reception)

Positive:
- Rooms at the back are really quiet.
- Staff is very attentive.
- Bathroom is very clean (not so much for dust in other surfaces).

Negative:
- Breakfast could be improved: almost no fresh fruits, no homemade food (surprinsingly, since there is a nice bakery just next door that offers quite nice breaksfast by the way), ...
- There is no option for having a coffee, snack or way to get a drink when the breakfast parlor is closed. It is required to go outside of the building to get any of those (there are few places around to get any of those).
- Courtains are too thin, when it's dawn you would have your room full of light. Wear something to cover your eyes if you are not a sound sleeper, it can really be bothersome.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back, overlooking the church are better. The street is quite noisy in the mornings

The bathroom is not really practical - it gets completly soaped after shower. but it is a good room besides that, clean place, close to the main atractions and to the main station. Have free wifi. they offer breakfest for 7 euros.
