stayed here for the build up for Christmas for 4 nights, was really pleased with the location and the room. Room was a good size and receptionist was friendly. It literally a 2 minute walk from the station which was handy when coming from the airport saving on taxis. Me and partner stayed in a private room as with most places in Europe, its two single beds pushed together. If we were visiting Munich again we would stay here again.

Great location! Hotel staff were friendly but sometimes it will really take you long queue before you get entertained. The room is quite bed in a 6-bed dorm type. There is a locker (provide your own locks), electrical outlets are enough, but toilet and shower is in the same room (so you have to wait). Wifi is free only in the lobby area (and it is nice to see lots of travellers finding their seats and space for wifi connection especially at night and you get friends with them). Breakfast is not free. Luggage room is available. A good place to stay for 1-2 days trip in Munich on a limited budget.

We needed to be near the station and this was a great location for us to get our children and luggage to the airport train in the morning!! It's also a nice walking distance to all the sights in the centre, clean and comfortable.

Trying to be positive here.. Location is good for the train station and most of the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Room was functional and basic, although sheets felt damp. Journey up the stairs to the room didn't sell the place with a strong toilet smell. Didn't try the lift.

Booking was messed up, booked two rooms well in advance but on arrival, only one was available so friends who we were travelling with had to take a taxi to another hotel ( at the expense of a&o ). For the inconvenience we were given a free drink and ice cream and the receptionist was very apologetic and dealt with it all exceptionally well.

Booked through booking.com and actual price charged was quite a bit more expensive than that quoted. There's also a 2 euro fee for paying by card.

Breakfast was an optional paid extra and consisted of tea/coffee, cold meat, bread and cheese, was quite nice.

If you're arriving late on the train and leaving early in the morning and just want to crash for a few hours, then I suppose it's okay, for anything else I can't recommend though.

I stayed at this hotel 2 nights, on my arrival to Munich, and also for 2 nights during Oktoberfest.
Choose the hotel with no high expectations. All I was looking for was a clean, centrally located hotel, in downtown Munich, at a reasonable price.
I took the S8 train from Munich Airport and got off at Hauptbahnhof (Central Station). It is about a 45 minute train ride (10 Euro) to central station, and then 10 minute walk to the hotel. Very easy to find. Close walk to the old town, and all the attractions.

The hotel staff are NOT that friendly, and not overly helpful. I asked for directions and they pointed me in the wrong direction. On the first stay at the hotel I was able to check in early. The rooms are small, but are clean. Again this is a place to basically shower and sleep for the night. Good for a 1 or 2 night stay. If you are staying longer, I would look elsewhere.
Breakfast was not included in my stay, an extra 6 euro. Coffee was 2.80 euro and drinks also expensive. But there are many cafes, and choices close by.
There is free internet in the lobby. If you want it in your room, there is an extra cost. The internet worked well, and no password login issues.

Just an extra word of advise. The hotel has a hostel portion with the hotel. The hotel section is in 2 towers, and the hostel is downstairs. Lots of kids around, but they are very friendly and all was safe.

Room Tip: Try to get a room in the back wing on the hotel, on the upper floors. Ask for an early check in...

I stayed there for one night. It was really disappointing. The staff at the reception was very rude. The option which we had booked before was not done for us at all. It was surprising that a hotel worker didn't think that this was a problem of the hotel, there were no any excuses for that mistake. I would never have stayed there if i could.
