Description: Let there be light. The Zoozie'z is a traditional old pub. Its three rooms have a bright modern feel. The historic and ostentatious-looking coffered ceiling is reminiscent of times past. Trendy students hang out at the bar with its white top and shiny yellow front. In the living room mums can natter while the kids play. The menu offers a variety of fresh traditional cuisine, such as Viennese schnitzel, tomato bruschetta and apple strudel. The bar staff and waiters are fast and efficient and will keep you happy with well mixed cocktails and some exquisite wine.

“Lovely neighborhood cafe, Superior desserts”
Reviewed 24 August 2013

Zoozie's was just down the block from the apartment we rented for our stay in Munich so we went many times over the course of a week. A reliable, if not a bit pricey option for food and coffee - however the desserts are amazing. Service can be spotty (and aggravatingly so), but tends to be better in the morning and evenings when perhaps full staffs are on. Mostly we found very friendly wait staff, with a couple of exceptions, but acceptable nonetheless.

Food is good, but especially when eating outside the food tends to cool very quickly. Pancakes are very good, and the hamburgers are plate-sized. There is always fresh breads and fruits and dessert is something to be enjoyed. We came late one night for dessert, and ordered coffee and the 'chocolate cake', expecting to have a quick coffee and a slice of cake. Nearly 25 minutes later, we wondered what was up: 'chocolate cake' is actually a hot cake baked in a small cup and is amazing.

As noted, it is also pricey : our coffee and cake at Zoozie'z was half the price of dinner downtown: Over 45 euro. Ouch. But tasty..

Sitting outside is wonderful, with choices of sun or shade, but the quantity of smokers may drive you inside (or to the row of tables down the side of the building). The location is terrific, right next to the river and the walking/biking path. There is also a taxi stand right at the corner.

Lots of people have strollers or pets, so I'm sure they get a lot of business off the path, but it also lends a nice community air to the place.

“Nice little spot close to river”
Reviewed 2 July 2013

The first thing I liked about Zoozie's was the ambience. Aged wooden floorboards and simple tables and chains below huge bell-shaped light shades. The food was great too, despite service being somewhat on the slow side.

“Hot Interior - Cold food”
Reviewed 29 May 2013

My friends and I went to the famous brunch at Zoozie'z and were a bit disappointed of the food. The variety is huge, but unfortunately the scrambled eggs, some dishes and the coffee were slightly cold. For 20 Euros per Person I do expect more. Otherwise the staff is very friendly and the location quite stylish.

“A great place for brunch”
Reviewed 12 November 2012

I love Zoozie's and their great menu for brunch on Sundays. I know it's a popular bar on Friday and Saturday nights, but for brunch it's a whole different place.

The staff were friendly, and even allowed me to add a few things extra into my omelette, so they get marks for that. Price and service are really good here.

“Fantastic Sunday Brunch”
Reviewed 23 September 2012 via mobile

Good Bruch-Buffet with enough variety of food, cakes and drinks.
The place is well located and it has a very nice contemporany-style ambience.
For couples, families and friends!
