Stayed three nights and the room was a good size and the bed comfortable. The location is excellent, walk or tram to most sites. Breakfast deal with nearby cafe was good also.
Only negative was the reception staff who were not at all friendly and we felt like an inconvenience to them. Our friends had a mini fridge but we didn't. Lift available. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: Away from the road if you want a quiet room.

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood near Sendlnger Tor, one stop on the subway away from the central train station, and 15 minutes walk to Marienplatz, the center of the old town. The building itself is nice and clean, and the room is good and well furnished. However, entrance to the room is by a regular key, and once the lobby closes at night the main door remains unlocked. It means that anybody can just walk into the hotel with no restrictions. If you feel uncomfortable with that, look for another place. It is a pity that security is so poor. Many other hotels have keys which unlock both the main hotel door and the room door, let alone using card keys. But this is not the case here.

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel, and it continues to be extremely good value. There's nothing flashy about it, but the single room has a good double bed, clean sheets, wifi and desk and is an OK size. The bathroom is tiny but spotless, and the hotel is extremely well located. You would be hard pressed to better it for value.

Wife and I stay 3 nights in June 2014. The hotel is in a great locations for exploring the city. The room was clean and the staff were fine. No a/c in room, so in warm months you need to have the windows open. When the windows are open the street below is noisy. Wifi was good, but had to login often because signal would drop. Overall, I would stay again.

Stayed 3 nights, the beginning of June, 2014.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
We chose it because the price of 3 stars hotels in that level of location was significantly higher.
Agree with other reviewers about the good location.
Good Wi Fi.
Cooperative staff, though sometimes it seemed they had too much paper work and needed help in the desk.
Towels were changed everyday.
Bathroom a bit small and elevator a bit slow.
But, hey its a 2 star hotel you cannot expect facilities of a 5 star here.

I've spent 3 days in Munchen at this hotel. From my point of view it was clean, the hardwood floor it's a nice touch, since it appears like a home bedroom.
Internet is free and it's working well, the reception is providing each guest with a number to be used when logging in to the wi-fi.
The towels were changed everyday, the bathroom is a little small but this didn't bother us at all.
For the breakfast, the hotel is very close to the city center so you can always eat something from there, there are many choices to choose from.
It was a very good choice for our city break.

Sendlinger Tor hotel has a nice location in the central part of Munich. The room was clean and tidy. We have not had breakfast in the hotel but there is a pretty good bakery close by, where we eat a couple of times.

Room Tip: 217 is a good room
