“OK Bike Rental”

This is about their bike rental operation, I didn't take a tour. I rented a bike for a week while in Munich on business, the folks at Radius were friendly and helpful, the location in the Hauptbahnhof was convenient. The bikes were just OK. They are big cruisers, which is what you want in Munich, but they have internal gear cluster shifters and weigh a ton. Almost all have coaster brakes in addition to hand brakes, which is a pain after years of riding "real" bikes. Still, it worked for my purposes and was definitely a great way to get around town and actually see things.

“Radius tours and bike rental”
Reviewed 8 August 2014

We came down to Munich from London via the overnight train from Paris. When we arrived we were all a bit sleep deprived and snappy with each other. Hiring bikes for 24 hours was absolutely the best thing we could have done. Munich is so cycle friendly with loads of off road family friendly routes. We are a family of 4, one 14 year old and one 10 year old. Both thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Radius bike hire were so helpful. They directed us on the most family friendly safe route through the busy part of the city and into the English Garden. This is a massive park stretching from the centre of Munich right up to the suburbs where we cycled to Bayern Munich football club Arena. Very impressive building and wonderful cycle ride even if you've no interest in football. It is worth buying a few bits of food to have a picnic in the English Garden. That said there are a few cafes on the way and ice cream stops. Also came across small playgrounds which kept our youngest motivated.

“Munich Bike Tour”

Our guide was terrific--Iain! Super knowledge of the history and current cityscape, politics, etc of Germany and Munich. We got much more than we anticipated. Bikes were in excellent shape. Much better condition than those on a tour in Salzburg. Our two teenage boys loved it. Good spot at the main train station for pick up and drop off.

“Dachau with Craig - You won't regret it!”
Reviewed 7 August 2014

This tour was the best of our two week trip! The information was organized perfectly. Craig presented the information with dignity, respect and passion. I have been on the tour before and learned so many new things this time. Well worth your time and make sure he is your tour guide.

“Highlights of Munich and Bavaria”
Reviewed 7 August 2014 via mobile

My wife and I took three tours with Radius, this was our second visit to Munich and we had pleasant memories of our previous Radius tours. We did the Hitlers Munich tour with Steve as our guide, who had to compete with loud music at 2 points but was able to vary his route and carry on in phased. There is a great deal of walking involved. Steve provided us with information freely available regarding the rise of Hitler and his backers and with his knowledge provided a thoroughly interesting afternoon.
Our second tour was to Neuschwanstein Castle with Diana. The tour relies on public transport between Munich and Fussen, and we found seating for all the party for the 2 hour journey. Diana provided a commentary as we climbed the steep path to the Castle and led us to the view from the bridge and ensured we were on time for our allocated tour. The return journey required a change of trains but with careful directions from Diana passed without incident.
Our final tour was a repeat of the Munich Beer and Food with Austin, although it was our second time it was still as enjoyable as the first. We had lively companions on the tour, good beer and food and a thoroughly pleasant evening
